A Secret Lie!
People sometimes say to be careful with your enemies when in reality your
suppose close friends are the ones you have to be careful with the most.It was
October 31 when Melissa had asked her mother Rebecca if she could go out with
her friends to a party at 2520 West Division Street. Since her mother trusted
her, she gave Melissa permission to go to the party with her boyfriend and
friends. 9 p.m. Melissa started getting ready for the party. She took a shower
did her make up/ hair, and put on her costume which was cat-woman and her
boyfriend was batman. It was a costume party that they were going to so of
course Melissa and all her friends dressed up as something or someone. It was
9:40 when Melissa's boyfriend had arrived to the house. "Bye ma I love you"
Melissa said to her mother "Bye mija have fun and be careful." Melissa and her
boyfriend were on their way to the party and that's where they met up with
everybody else. Once they walked in the party had just started, Melissa and all
her friends started dancing an having a great time. While Melissa is dancing
with her friends her boyfriend came up to her and said "Hey babe i'll be right
back" "Where are you going?" " I'm going to go to the store to get some Hennessy
with the guys" "Alright babe just be careful." Melissa's boyfriend Josh had left
to the store with the rest of the guys to get the drinks, they weren't gone for
too long in 15 minutes they were already back. When they came back the party had
gotten even better everyone was drinking, taking body and jello shots they also
played beer pong. After getting drunk everyone went back to dancing and having
one wild night. After a while someone noticed that they were all out of drinks
so Josh and the guys went back to the liquor store to get everybody some drinks
and like before they only took 15 minutes but when they got back to the house
Josh noticed that something was going on with Melissa's friends so he went to
ask. "Hey do you know where Melissa is at"? Josh ask's Tiffany which is
Melissa's friend "I thought she was with you" "No I just got here" "What!!!"
"Why what happened"? "Melissa left with someone else then!" "What are you
talking about"? "Let's go i'll explain on the way we have to go get her".
Tiffany and Josh were on their way to go get Melissa "Now can I know what
happened to my girl"? Josh ask's Tiffany "What had happened was that someone
came dressed like you wearing a Batman costume, and she thought it was you. The
guy had told her that he had a surprise for her, he said that he was going to
take her to a fancy buffet and then made reservations at a nice hotel in Down
Town. Little did I know they were already gone." Josh was very upset and scared,
he was afraid that anything would happen to Melissa. "Do you know the address of
the place they were going to be at"? "Yeah it's 160 E. Pearson St. I just don't
know where they were going to eat at." Josh rushed to the place and once he got
there he asked if anyone with the name of Melissa Munoz had signed in, what he
found weird was that the guy that worked there told him that no one by the name
of Melissa Munoz had signed in or registered. Tiffany tells Josh "Maybe the
registered by the guys name" "Yeah it could be" "We should get a room and wait
here till we find out when and who she comes with." Josh wasn't so sure about
getting the room for both of them but since it was already late he booked the
room. Little did he know she was setting him up. Since he was so stressed she
offered to get him some water which he said the he would like some, when Tiffany
got the water she put a few drops in his drink that would make him fall asleep.
He drank it like nothing and in a few minutes he fell asleep. Once he fell
asleep Tiffany took advantage and did some stuff she wasn't supposed to do,
besides that she also had taken some pictures. The next morning he woke up and
the first thing he did was check if she had signed in or if anyone had seen her,
but once again the guy that works there had told him that no one by the name of
Melissa Munoz had signed in. Josh went back to the room really afraid and upset
"What happened"? asked Tiffany "The guy who works here told me the some thing he
said last night he didn't see anyone that looked like her". Since Tiffany seen
that he was very upset and concerned she thought it was the right moment to tell
him the truth. "Look Josh I have to tell you something" "What is it"? "Melissa
never left with anyone she was at the party, the reason why you didn't see her
was because she had gone to the little store at the corner to get some munchies"
"What! How could you do this to me, to her she's your best friend. Why did you
do this in the first place, why would you even lie about something so serious"?
"Josh I did it for us" "What do you mean for us, there is nothing going on
between you and me Tiffany." "I've been liking you way before you and Melissa
started dating and you never payed attention to me it was always her. I just
wanted to have you for at least one night." "Tiffany your sick, what's Melissa
going to think of me now. You have to understand Tiffany I love Melissa with all
me heart we have been together for 3 years and you think I'm going to let that
go for some one I don't even have feelings for, you were supposed to be my best
friend and Melissa's close friend you guys were like sister's and you blew it
off for one night that wasn't even worth nothing." "Josh last night was worth
everything for me" "You are crazy nothing happened between us"! "Yes a lot
happened last night and I have proof" "Let me see the pictures." Tiffany showed
Josh the pictures and threatened him that if he went back with Melissa she would
mail those pictures to her, but Josh didn't care he went to look for Melissa and
told her everything that happened. When Melissa found out everything she
believed what Josh told her, she stopped talking to Tiffany and Josh and her
lasted for the rest of their life's. They ended up getting married together and
moving away to Hawaii to live happily ever after.
