David Waligora Period 7 Journey to Poland

Have you ever had to sit on a plane for 9 ½ hours. Poland is one of my favorite vacation spots. It has diverse types of animals, beautiful farmland, and a fascinating skyline. It has beautiful, gigantic hills that are mind blowing. The lower on the map you go the hillier and larger they get. There are different regions in Poland with a variety of traditions and accents of Polish. When you start off from O’Hare International Airport it is usually between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. because they are night flights. When you land it is between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. There is a seven hour time difference between the United States and Poland. Let’s say that it is 12 p.m. in the United States, it would be 7.p.m. in Poland. What most people do on the ride there is sleep because it is dark when you take off from Chicago and it is morning in Poland when you land so you still get your sleep. I usually fall asleep after takeoff and wake up an hour before we are about to land. Even though the journey takes forever, it is worth it.
