In the summer of 2013, my cousins and I went on a trip to Starved Rock. The trip was about two hours and a half long. Unfortunately it took us three and a half hours to get there. The reason this happened was because on certain occasions, my couisns can be beyond stupid. So it was the early morning of June 23rd, 2103. As I got up I packed together all the belongings I needed. It was finally time to leave and we took five different vehicles due to the fact that I have too many cousins. The plan was for us in particular to arrive there first because we had most of the food and beverages. As we left we used a GPS to take us to our destination. About an hour had passed and we we're on the right path. Suddenly the GPS lost its signal and shut down. Luckily one phone still had service and we were able to use its GPS to take us to Starved Rock. About an hour later, we saw the guide signs that would lead us to Starved Rock. Apparently one of my cousins in the other car knew where the place was where we would set up camp. We had been traveling for about two hours and half already. As we followed my cousin who suppossedly knew where to set up camp, she had told us she made the wrong turn, so we follwed and made an illegal u-turn. Ten minutes later she called us via cellphone saying she made the wrong turn again. So we made another illegal u-turn and followed her once again. This time my couisn headed outside of Starved Rock and at this time we were all cursing, complaing, starving, and pissed at each other for the reason that we were supposed to arrive at our destination an hour ago. This time my cousin calls again saying  that she was positive she knew where it was. We somewhat did not believe her because we we're headed away from Starved Rock. Then about five minutes later she makes another damn u-turn and head on the other direction. We had no words to explain our anger. We headed back into the path in the forest and this time, looked like we were headed in the right path. So our smiled clicked back on. We saw many paths and knew that one of these paths would lead us to where we needed to be. So my cousin begins to lead us to some farm and the my other cousins behind us hit the brakes and head back. We're thinking they've had enough and left. So we continue to follow my cousin and makes another u-turn because we ended up in a farm. As we head down a long path, she makes a left turn and we head into another forest. Fortunantly this time we make it to our destination with everyone having arrived there besides us.
