Jessica Mucha -Summer Day

On a beautiful summer day, two friends decided to go on a walk. They took the same route they took every other day, through the breezy green forest, around the beautiful lake, and then back home. Today, today they realized something. As they walked closer to the forest, they started to see something but it was all blurry. When they entered it, they saw a bunch of police officers, and a little section of the forest surrounded with yellow tape. Right away, something caught John’s attention. It was a pink sweater, just like the one his sister Amanda. John wandered off closer leaving Joey behind. John couldn't believe his eyes.....it was his sister Maggie. He turned around and ran back home, Joey had no idea what just happened. At this moment, he didn't want to bother John, so he decided to ask one of the officer's on what had happened. "Excuse me, what happened here?" he asked. "And who are you young man? Are you a family member of this young lady?" "No, I'm a close family friend. Can you please tell me what happened to her.?" "This young lady named Maggie, after looking at all this we got to the conculsion she had been beat and raped." "Thank you so much for the information." Joey knew he had to go tell John exactly what has happened to his sister. Walking to John's, Joey couldn't believe what he had just heard. Who would have done such a thing to her. She was the most caring and nicest person he has ever met. "Hey John. I'm sorry, I hear everything that happened. Do you have any idea on who would have done such a thing.?" "I have no idea. She never had problems with anybody, other than with dad of course. Right now I just have to be with my mom, she's going through this the most." "Well, did you tell your dad about what happened?" "Yeah. Actually he acted a bit awkward, more like he already knew about it." "John.! What if your father did it to her. Well, not trying to blame your dad for this, because you guys are like a family to me, but if you're saying he acted awkwardly like as if he already knew, then maybe it was him." "You're right, I have to tell the police about all of this and how they didn't get along." "I'll come with, I can't leave you guys by yourself through all this." John reported everything he knew to the police and then returned back home with Joey to his mother. Later on that day John's father got arrested. His mom didn't know anything about John going to the police station. For the next couple of days, she couldn't forgive John for what he had done. That all changed after a few weeks. Harold, John's father was sentenced to a prison sentence of 25 years.
