When I Was Six - Leslie Meza

Ever heard of that game called telephone? Where you have a group of people gathered in a circle and one person tells a story to the person next to them and once the story has been passed around to the last person, it’s a completely different story? Well once you get older, that’s how everything seems to be. I wish I was six again. I wish this because then I would actually live it up. I would actually embrace every moment. I would only have to worry about what id do in school the next day or what toys I’d play with. I wouldn’t have to worry about what friend will backstab me or who’s just going to talk bad about me. Nowadays seem to be about stupid drama or people who are fake. When I was six, everyone got along. The only thing bad we would do to each other is stick out our tongues to each other or make ugly faces or roll our eyes at each other. A little bump with someone would end with an “oh, I’m sorry.”, but that was only when I was six. Now that I’m older, a little bump with someone isn’t so little. It could end with a dirty look or a big argument or maybe even a fight. Life just seemed much simpler when I was six.
