Fire God

Theseus is now face to face with the fire god and he knows what he must do to get the fire belt. They stood in the fire god’s lair as the tension built up and just glared at each other. Theseus had his sword in one hand and tried to keep his head clear. Using magic the fire god created his sword which was unbreakable and would put a man on fire if it were to touch him. Suddenly the fire god tightly gripped his sword and charged at Theseus like a mad man. Theseus did the same and charged at the fire god. When they met Theseus’s sword had broke into two pieces. The fire god swung his sword at Theseus and barely missed his throat. Theseus knowing he could not fight jumped back from the fire god. Theseus now knew that the only way to get the fire belt was to destroy the fire god first. As the fire god noticed he had no protection he decided to use the magic and throw a fireball right at Theseus. Theseus jumped out of the way but as he jumped he was struck by the fireball in the leg, this made the fire god chuckle. Theseus stood up and had a slight limp. Now the fire god realized this was his chance to charge at Theseus and with no hesitation he charged at Theseus with sword aimed right at Theseus's head. Theseus did not know what to do at this point he quickly looked around him for something to help. As he look to his right he could see a skeleton laying on the floor next to this skeleton was a sword and shield. Theseus quickly limped to the sword for the fire god was on his tail. Theseus then swung the sword without looking because he could hear the fire god was right behind him. Then Theseus was pleased to see that he had stopped the fire gods attack. With anger the fire god kicked Theseus to the floor and shot a fireball. With only a second to spare Theseus rolled out of the fireballs way. Theseus noticed that the sword and shield he held started to glow. He could see a very faint writing in which he could not read. But with every second Theseus held this sword he would get stronger and with every second he would hold the shield the less his injuries would hurt. The fire god noticed that within a couple of seconds that Theseus was not limping and was even strong now. In rage the fire god shot a fireball and followed right behind it with his sword in the air. Theseus quickly dodged the fireball and did not see the fire god behind the fireball. Suddenly the fire god struck Theseus in the arm with him sword. Theseus could not believe the pain he was in as he laid on the ground. The fire god pleased with himself began to chuckle yet again. But as he held the magical sword and shield he began to heal and regain strength. At full strength Theseus began his assault on fire god. He took his great sword and shield and charged at the fire god. The fire god struck Theseus's shield and   didn't do anything quickly Theseus stabbed the fire god in the arm disarming the fire god. Theseus seen it was his chance and with all his strength he could build up he took his sword and struck the fire god right in his heart. The fire god laid there motionless as he did not breathe anymore. Theseus then grabbed the fire belt and put in around his waist. He then sailed off back to his father’s kingdom to show his father that he has great strength and courage. When he arrived at the kingdom his father could not believe that he was holding the fire belt. With great cheer the king proudly said to Theseus I now believe you are my son. Later on that day the whole kingdom had a huge feast in of honor of Theseus acquiring the fire belt. But just as Theseus was about to celebrate the ground began to shake and there was a loud roar coming from the mountains.
