The Rookies
Johnny Davis

It was a group of kids that lived in Austin they all loved playing football but they never went to summer camp that was very important because that’s when the team gets that bond on the felid. Once school started they went to get their equipment after they did that they ditched the coach so they wouldn’t have to go to practice. These kids thought they can win games without practice they all felt like the weakest team out there because they lost their preseason games by blowouts. It was only 15 players on the team but it’s was only eleven that touched the field. They key players was the quarterback Thomas Johnson, the running back was Shaun Greene, they had two great receivers Darrell Jackson and Nate Jackson they were twins they also played defense. Since they lost all of their games they started to come to practice every single day. The game was scoreless until the fourth quarter when the team kicked a field goal that made the score 3-0 the next play Shaun Greene ran the kickoff for a touchdown. Its was a close game it was only ten seconds when they tried to throw the ball deep and Darrell Jackson picked it off and he scored. They won they first game that when they realize practice do work. The next couple of games by blowouts so the started to get that swagger now they felt like the was best team out there. They made it to they state playoffs they was dominating the game, they made it to the championships. The day of the game they thought they was about to run threw the team but this game was like the first. They were loosing in the fourth by 3 points. The score was 27-24 its one second left on the score board so they ran this halfback draw it was open because they thought they was about to throw the ball so Shaun Greene ran the ball for 65 yards for a touchdown for the game winning play.
