“One Bad Accident”

Have you ever seen a multiple car cash? Well I have it was April 25, 2006 around 1:30 p.m. My grandmother was on 74th & Ashland on her way to take my auntie to the dentist to get her tooth pulled. When she was turning a drunk driver tried to beat her in turning and caused a pile up with three other cars.
Once my grandmother saw that she was in a accident she called the family and told them. When the family made it up there my grandmother was walking on a broken foot. She started picking up packs of candy that she ha din her car and said what happen to her. That’s when a man that work in a carwash explain to my grandmother and the family what had happen and told them who caused the accident. The person that caused the accident was four times the legal limit for drinking.
After the ambulance arrived my grandmother had passed out in her car. The ambulance had rushed my grandmother to Christ Hospital. Before my whole family left they was questioning the police about the accident, they wouldn’t tell them nothing. The police told my auntie that they wasn’t letting anybody ride in the ambulance with my grandmother.
Once my grandmother arrived to the hospital the doctors told her if it wasn’t for the seat belt and the air bag she would have died. While they were waiting for the results from her test one doctor came in and told her that she had a broken foot with a plate and some screws in her foot. She also had a bruised chest and her face was bruised up badly. On July 10th of 2006 my grandmother had her cast removed and the doctors put a boot on her leg so she can walk around on her foot so it can get better. While my grandmother was at home she was unable to take care of herself so my auntie took care of her until she got better.
Finally on August 18 of 2006 my grandmother got her boot removed. When she arrived home from getting her boot removed my auntie showed her the pictures from the accident so she can take them to court with her. Now my grandmother is going to therapy once a month. On April the 18th of 2007 my grandmother has been going to therapy for a year.
