Do you find this story (the jewel) realistic or unbelievable? Why?

I find this story realistic because I think it can happen to anybody and I also think that it has happened before and it can happen again in the future. Many people in real life are greedy and want to have everything especially the things they can’t afford or can’t have. Some lie about where they got things from and some lie about the things they don’t even have. I think it’s better for someone to be proud of what they have because either way they’re going to get caught in their own lies.
The woman in the story seemed like a gentle woman, someone who a man would be proud of calling their wife. What people didn’t know was that she was putting an act in front of everyone. When she died, her husband tried selling her fake jewelry. He then found out that the jewelry was real and stolen.
After reading the story, I then knew that this can happen to anyone in the world and it might be happening right this moment.
