Is the experience of prom overrated?

Prom is overrated because my prom wasn't as fun as i had expected.

I expected more, like a celebrity or some local artis to come and perform.

most of my prom night was spent sitting down or takeing photos with some of the other students.

The reason i say that it is overrated is because it isn't like the proms you see on TV.

The proms on TV has more to them like performacences and more.

Real life proms are often boring because of the students, they dont know how to have fun.
