I think that Okeke will make up for what he missed out on. In his mind he want to keep beef with his son and daughter in law but in heart he want to have peace now that he know that he has grandchildren. He doesn’t want to die knowing that he had grandchildren that he never met. I think that he really want to be a grandfather to the two boys. Okeke knows that without making peace with his son and his sons’ wife he won’t be able to spend time with his grandchildren. I don’t think that Okeke could live the rest of his life without seeing or speaking to his son again. Even though he went eight years without seeing or speaking to his son, he still thinks about him at times because that is still his son. If I were to have any children I wouldn’t abandon them for anything in the world. I know how it feels to have your father ignore you for a long period of time because of your belief in certain situations. Even though my father did abandon me for a while, he did come back and apologize and that is why I think that Okeke will not keep the beef with his son. The best thing for Okeke to do is apologize to his son and his sons’ wife and think of a master make up plan that will or can go with his apology. That is what I think of the story.
