Yes, I do think Okeke will see his grandsons and make peace with his son and his daughter in law. I believe that he was beginning to feel remorseful. I know myself personally would feel that way if I know I had some grandchildren out there wandering about me.
Because when he was reading the letter she told him that they told their sons that they had a grandfather and they wanted to see him.
After reading he letter I would have wanted to see my grandchildren after that.
My opinion about this is that the grandfather will eventually come too his senses and go see his grandchildren and leave all the tribe issues within the tribes and not family. I do not think that Nnaemeka would have to write another letter to their grandfather, because he is feeling the pain from his son and daughter in law, from which they are receiving from their children. The grandfather should make this good decision in his life and reunite with his family. I also don’t think that he should let anything come between him and his family, because blood is thicker then water. I don’t think he would stay mad at his son for the rest of his life. Because he will eventually do the right thing. The right thing is forgetting about all the tribe’s rules, apologizing to Nnaemeka for cutting her picture and letting a family be a family.
