After I finish high school, I’m planning on going to Kennedy king college on 63rd and Halsted. I know when I graduate life will be much harder than high school. There are no more adults helping you with things because you are in pre-adult years. I know when I graduate my grandmother isn’t going to do as much as she used to do for me. I know I will have to look for an apartment and a good job. If I plan on staying with my grandmother she is going to start making me pay half on the rent. I believe that I’m getting my own apartment because I don’t want anybody telling me what to do after I graduate. I know that I will be grown and I will be able to make my own decisions. Things will be much harder than usual; there isn’t anymore buying shoes every two weeks. I know the money I use for shoes will have to go on rent. Making smart choices will help me after graduation. I have been talking to my counselor about financial aid. She start sending all my paper to Kennedy king college. I have talk to one of the counselors at the college but she really didn’t tell me a lot of things. I accomplished 10% of work towards accomplishing my goals in the future. All I have to do now is waiting until the counselors start calling me and giving me information. I have been thinking about college life since January.
