Yes, I think sex before marriage is very realistic. Because now days some people don’t think it’s a problem, and some people think it’s sinning. I think people now days think that they are suppose to have sex before marriage because if you have sex after marriage your mate might not feel you on the sex life part of life. You know what I mean. But the best thing for young adults to do is wear protection at all times, don’t believe your mate if they say it’s cool I’m on a pill or I’m gone pull out before I cum. Because it’s all a lie and most dumb teen now days always believe what there mates say, and it’s crazy, they don’t won’t nobody doing them wrong. Me I’m a young black man, just trying to do my best at life. I don’t want to get put down by some girl giving me a disease. I might go crazy over something like that. The world’s African Americans are killing each other by being lazy and not wearing protection, not getting tested, and making silly lies. It’s just ridicules and I don’t understand why we’re doing it to ourselves.

Is the experience of senior prom overrated? Well me, since been on prom just passed May 2nd. I really expected it to be more than what it was. But it was okay I guess. It could have been better that’s all I’m saying. If I have a chance to do it all over again, I think I would, because it did feel good to be with all my friends. We had a lot of fun together even though it was so boring we all come dressed really nice and at the end of the day I enjoyed it all. The most thing about prom was that we took a lot of pictures and we were doing a lot of dancing. for the most part I think my date was hot. She had the little yellow dress on with the nice heels, plus she me on her side so you know she was bad.

If I could go back and change one experience in my high school life. I would have probably played all four years of football. I played for my junior year and I was pretty good. I had a couple catches and a couple touchdowns. But I hated going to practice. Every time we us to go the beginning was horrible, but it always end up being just another good day of practice. I guess if I would have stayed on the team I would be more athletic and stronger but it wouldn’t change my attitude.

I don’t think I can even put my Feelings into words when trying to summarize all the time experiences of being in this classroom. It was truly the best and most enjoyable class I think I have had through out my entire four years of being a student of Harper High School. Everyday was something new, and we always found a way to make a laugh out of any situation. I don’t think it was one day that I absolutely didn’t want to come to that class. Everything Mr. Winfrey, to all the students in the class, to even the work we had to while in class, is all people and memories I will never forget. For the things I liked best about Mr. Winfrey’s class, I would have to say I liked my little cluster of friends within the class, the class assignments we had to do for points, and Winfrey are the things I most enjoyed about the class. I think it is made up to be one of the best days of your entire life, and it would be unheard of for you to miss your own Prom night. The only reason I went to prom was because everyone spoke of the night so highly. They constantly told me of how much fun they had while on their prom and of all the fun they had after the prom was over. These stories convinced me to go after a while, so that I can feel the same way about my prom. But the day of prom showed me that aside from all the fun you think you are going to have that night. You will be just as stressed out preparing for it. The day of prom, I had so many things to do it was no way that I would have mad it on time. First I had to go get the flower thing that goes around the girl’s risk. Second I had to get my hair braided for prom. Third I had to go to the barbershop to get a lining. Fourth I had to go get the car that I was taking to prom. Fifth I had to get dressed, and take some pictures for my family. Finally I went to go pick my date up at her house, and also take pictures for her family. It was the most stressful day of my entire life. But despite all of that, I still managed to have a good time while I was there. All together I can see why people are so hooked on the idea of prom night. But I still find the day, and the entire process to be overrated.

MY experience in room 401 was wonderful because some of my peers are mature and their ready for college material. Mr. Winfrey prepares us for the real world expecially if we are going to college. That's why I like how he teachesour class. He treat his class like he's a college professor and we're college students. He don't hold no ones hand or take no excuses about his assignments and that's what makes us more like adults. Room 401 is the place to be because it's more than a high school atomsphere. He prepares us for the real world. When I first came in that class we started reading out of the literturs book. The class and I wasn't feeling that so we let him know that we want to do different things like group projects or special essays. Later on throughout the year he made out and agenda for the week and we hada whole new type of work. My hardest work that I had to do was my resource paper . The bellringers were easy to me because to it's easy points and it could boost up your grade a little . I like how we got to use the blogger because you can publish your work and everyone can read it if they want. All the other english teachers didn't come up with that idea like Mr. Winfrey. The advice that I would give to the new incoming freshman is always do your best to be the best. Always do your work and come to school on time never talk back to your teacher. But it’s all lot that would tell the incoming freshman if I was face to face with them. I would tell them not go with no body that go to the same school as you and for the girls never ever fight over no boy that you’re your and even if he is your it’s not no telling what he doing or who he doing so why fight over him. And when you all done fighting over him ya’ll do him still going to with both of ya’ll. With the guy do not do any thing that you wouldn’t want people to do to your family or friends. What advice would you give incoming freshman about high school?
The advice that I would give to the new incoming freshman is always do your best to be the best. Always do your work and come to school on time never talk back to your teacher. But it’s all lot that would tell the incoming freshman if I was face to face with them. My opinion is that fire is better suited to describe hell. I choose fire because fire burns and hurts that what hell is about burning and hurting. Another reason I choose fire instead of ice is when I watch movies the describe hell as being hot and red. The also show the devil skin color is red and he has two red horns coming out his head. People say that when you do bad things and die you go to hell to burn in the fire. Some reason I didn’t choose ice to describe hell is that ice reminds me of snow and kids have fun in the snow.

My Advice to any incoming freshmen at Harper would be very critcal you must never tell anyone your business. never believe everyone is your friend. Those are the most two important pieces of advice you can give anyone. I saying this because i chose someone who a friend that betray me. For some reason I will never understand why. None of this is ever the wrong advice because they look up to us. As an upper classmen I have took some young girls by my side as a sister. I still love to be half of what some of them dont have. That could be a role model or a big sister for either one of them. Thats what I have become. None the less these incoming freshmen will have to learn from all of the mistakes that lie in their path. It will be sad to see something end up happening to them. They may be in a bad sistuation. Something they may not be able to handle. That would be my advice to them

Sex before marriage is very realistic in today’s society, because of a fact that there are so many people out there doing it. I feel that people should wait until they are married but I guess that most people feel different. I mean that there are kids who are having sex at the youngest age of 11. There are even kids having baby’s at the age of ten, “and trust me I had meet a few”. Sex is everywhere you go, such as in music videos, movies, even in books and magazines. So when it comes down to waiting to get married before having sex is out the question for most of everyone. I don’t even know why it is in the bible because as we saw that the peoples in today’s society don’t like to listen and that’s goes for an example with the Adam and Eve story when god told them not eat the apple, and `what did they do they ate it anyways and brought upon harm. See that’s why I feel that people do the opposite of what’s right. But all people know that what they are doing out here is truly wrong so why keep doing it. It is too much going on in this world today such as with the involvement of dieses and people losing their life all just because they didn’t use protections. All the young kids out her today are prime example of our future so their elder should inform them on how to practice safe sex.

I feel that the experience of prom is overrated because, what people do and how much money people spend for prom. I feel that prom is just a waste of time because it’s only for one night and just a few hours. People just go all out now days, such as spending a lot of money on a dress that they are only going to wear for just that one night. I mean I was going to do the same exact thing for prom but something had happen to my dress, was which was the reason I didn’t go on prom. Prom is a lot of fun and all but it what the kids do after prom that is so wrong. See kids now and days want to stunt and have fun as well as show off. The kids now and days after prom get drunk, smoke weed and at the end of it all go to hotels to have sex. Prom is just not what it uses to as I heard how it was back in the days. So that is why I feel that all kids should go straight home after prom. By them go home it would save a lot of lives because there are so many kids drinking and driving that night and putting their life and other lives in danger as well. So for now on until next prom they should make it a law for all kids to go straight home after prom or would be presented a ticket of a high fine or a night in jail.

If I could go back and change one experience that I have had in high school it would be messing up in my freshmen year. When I was attending Hyde Park high school I had started off good but then when I had made new friends they was not friends that I had needed. I had started to ditch with these girls, and the reason why I would ditch school was because it was so easy, only because the school had off campus lunch. My grades was so bad I mean bad then it ever been. But when report card pick up came around I was so nervous, because my mother was coming to pick up my report card and she definitely don’t play when it comes down to her kids getting a free education and have to pay money to make up extra credits. So when she came up there, she was so mad when she found out that I was failing all my classes that she beat the mess out of me when we got home but to top it all she smacked the hack out of me in front of my teachers and classmates. I was so embarrassing that I had never tried to let that ever happened to me again so I did what I had to do to not be put in that position again. So what I can say to all the future students who are going to attend Harper high school is to not get of tracked.

Well the one person who had helped me out through my four years of high school was my mother at the beginning up until my sophomore year then when my boyfriend came into my life he step up even when he didn’t have to. But he did and he did a lot for me as to make sure I was picked up and ready for school in the mourning’s, make sure I got home from school safely and brought and buy me things that I wanted as well as need. I appreciate him to the fullest just because he was there in my corner when I had no body else to be there for me. Even though he got me pregnant and we both know that it was a mistake, but he had man up to his responsibilities and took care of both me and my child. My boyfriend can only do so much, but he tries his best to do what ever he can. This man almost did just about everything to provide for me and his family but other people don’t see it that way. I mean we both have our ups and downs but what relationship doesn’t have problems. I mean every one is not perfect. I feel that if it wasn’t for him I probably would have been a different person just because I was so full of anger before, only because my father wasn’t in my life.

The advice that I would give to an incoming freshmen in high school is to take school serious and to not mess up with their grades and end up falling behind. I feel that all freshmen when they come t o a high school that they start to mess up their first year, because they are experiencing a new environment and have just a tad bit freedom from what they had in grammar school. They are being around older kids and doing what all they older kids are doing such as smoking weed and stuff just because they thinks it’s cool. Then their attendance get poorly just because they ditch school and go to a friends house and do all only what god knows what’s. But anyways I feel that it’s a must or some type of spell that needs to be broken so that kids can be how they were back in the days. but the only thing that I could say to a student is to go in there with their head up and try to make it to the top because it easy to just sit their and just let their life slip between their hands. School is a very serious place when it comes down to getting a great education. So all they have to do is just go in alone and stay away from their peers that don’t mean them any good. Students should just do what they know and follow success.

Something that had happened on the news lately was when fourteen people were hospitalized after the elevated train left the tracks Wednesday. The train rack happened on the south side of Chicago on 63 and Cottage Grove that Wednesday mourning. The time that I had spent in my English class in room 401 with Mr. Winfrey was very good. I mean I didn’t know him like that but he was a joy to be around and he made learning more fun, and he broke hard work down in to a code to make it easy. But when I was on home bound he was real impressed at me doing his work correctly and had it done quickly and neat. But I know once I got off of home bound everything was going fine for the first few weeks until my child was older enough for daycare. See my child day care would open up at only 8:00 a.m in the mourning and I had to be at school at 8:00 a.m in the mourning so it was hard for me. And make so bad I stayed out South, and her day care was out east. Then the day care owners would be sometime 30 minutes late which would make me even later for my teacher 1st Pd. class. So that’s the reason why my grades started to drop all of a sudden. But I finally decided that by me being late for his class wasn’t going to stop me from doing my work and trying my best to past his class. So even though I was late I would see him somewhere in the building I would ask him what I had missed and may he give me the recent assignment so I can make it up. but by him being thoughtful and wanting to see the seniors graduate and succeed in life so he tries to help out the best way he can and explains the assignments so that the student would be clear on how it must be done, that’s why I can call him one of the best.

So when she came up there, she was so mad when she found out that I was failing all my classes that she beat the mess out of me when we got home but to top it all she smacked the hack out of me in front of my teachers and classmates. I was so embarrassing that I had never tried to let that ever happened to me again so I did what I had to do to not be put in that position again. So what I can say to all the future students who are going to attend Harper high school is to not get of tracked.

Well the one person who had helped me out through my four years of high school was my mother at the beginning up until my sophomore year then when my boyfriend came into my life he step up even when he didn’t have to. But he did and he did a lot for me as to make sure I was picked up and ready for school in the mourning’s, make sure I got home from school safely and brought and buy me things that I wanted as well as need. I appreciate him to the fullest just because he was there in my corner when I had no body else to be there for me. Even though he got me pregnant and we both know that it was a mistake, but he had man up to his responsibilities and took care of both me and my child. My boyfriend can only do so much, but he tries his best to do what ever he can. This man almost did just about everything to provide for me and his family but other people don’t see it that way. I mean we both have our ups and downs but what relationship doesn’t have problems. I mean every one is not perfect. I feel that if it wasn’t for him I probably would have been a different person just because I was so full of anger before, only because my father wasn’t in my life.

The advice that I would give to an incoming freshmen in high school is to take school serious and to not mess up with their grades and end up falling behind. I feel that all freshmen when they come t o a high school that they start to mess up their first year, because they are experiencing a new environment and have just a tad bit freedom from what they had in grammar school. They are being around older kids and doing what all they older kids are doing such as smoking weed and stuff just because they thinks it’s cool. Then their attendance get poorly just because they ditch school and go to a friends house and do all only what god knows what’s. But anyways I feel that it’s a must or some type of spell that needs to be broken so that kids can be how they were back in the days. but the only thing that I could say to a student is to go in there with their head up and try to make it to the top because it easy to just sit their and just let their life slip between their hands. The train rack happened on the south side of Chicago on 63 and Cottage Grove that Wednesday mourning. For me it's hard to anwser this question because I had little help, It's not like my family does'nt care or anything it's just a lot has been going on in my family. A little after the death of my stepmother is when my family problems started. after the year 2002 was when i liked to say or family curse began. family members started to either get sick or die, but life goes on and i cant dwell on the past. For me it's hard to anwser this question because I had little help, It's not like my family does'nt care or anything it's just a lot has been going on in my family. A little after the death of my stepmother is when my family problems started. after the year 2002 was when i liked to say or family curse began. family members started to either get sick or die, but life goes on and i cant dwell on the past. If I could go back and change 1 experience I had in high school it would be my grades.

In our world today sex before marriage is no factor because we are exposed to it right at birth.
Human socioty is stronger now than it was a hundred years ago, because back then humans did pretty much what ever they wanted.

they always talk to me when i needed help or got on me about my grade they the ones that I can talk to personally, they cared, was one of the ones to I got up every morning without anybody telling to or did my homework when it needed to be done. or I attended all my class because i decided to nobody has never told me to come to class. becuase everyday when I come to class I know it's all about me

I would tell the incoming freshmen to do their best in every class because it can come back to you. Get up and have a fresh start at school by making it to the first class in the morning. Don’t let any of your friends get in the way of you learning and getting all the education you know you need. Don’t let the upperclassmen frighten you. Also don’t take your freshmen year a joke because the teachers will fail you in a minute and you’ll have to go to summer school. Another thing is don’t let any one pressure you for doing something that you know is wrong like ditching or pulling the fire alarm. If you do then you will have consequences. If you need help with any thing about a class project or homework, you can all ways turn to a teacher or a staff member. That’s what there here for to assist you. High school can be fun but on the other hand you still have to work hard that way you can relax in your senior year. I discourage you not to drop out of high school because that’s not the way to go. You can’t even get a job with out your high school diploma. I know I had fun in my high school years even though at some times it was hard because the teachers wanted a lot of work done and on time. When coming to high school just be prepared and have fun.

Today in the news I hear that many a lot of people are being killed. They are not dieing from natural causes. More people have been killed this year more than all last year already. The people that are getting killed are the high school students. About thirty two high school students has been shot or killed in the last six months. On the south side of Chicago Englewood have the most killings and the most violence that any other place in Chicago. On Saturday a student at Simeon got shot coming from Saturday school by some students from another school. Also at Chicago Crane high school there all star basketball player started at gang fight and beat a boy with a baseball bat. Also at Crane high school a student was shot and killed because of gang violence. Around Harper high school his one of the top places were gangs are. There are more gangs in that area than any other place. Last year early in the morning before school it was a shooting on Honroe at a Harper student was looking out the window and a bullet hit her in the head. She died instantly she was a freshman Harper and all her brothers and sisters attended Harper. That government is trying to stop the violence they are trying to find something to do to make the killing stop. Mayor Daley started some things so students can have something to do so they can stay busy.

My advice to incoming freshmen is to come to school on time and get on their work as soon as possible because you don’t won’t lag behind other students. Because if you look at other people grades and their grade point averages you would be mad because if you know your smarter then them you cant prove it because your grades are lower then theirs. This is why I think that you should get on your work as soon as you receive it from your teachers and them in on time. I would tell them to get on their work on time because falling behind can be very painful when it is time to graduate because you would try and make up classes at the last minute and you would not graduate on time. My other advice is not to try and blind in with wrong crowd because you could end up just like them or you would take the blame for something that they did. My other advice is try to and stay on the teacher and other staff good side so bad things wont happened about you our to you. Person that helped me for all four is my mother. The reason I pick my mother is, because she have been helping me with everything, an when I mean everything I mean like all of my homework, my reports, and she is ever helping me right now with these bell ringer I'm doing. My mother will not let me down. I can depend on her when ever I have her. She supports me all the time even when I'm not feeling good or down. I look up to my mother, because she motivates me in every way. That is why I pick my mother for a person that helped me in all of my four years straight. I think this class been fun even though I had my ups and downs with falling off in class. There has been time that I have wanted to play and not do my work in class nor my homework. This class I think I would rate it as 7.5 because of the grading system change I haven’t had a good grade since the grading scales have changed in this class. I mean Mr. Winfrey is a good teacher even though his ego is big with thinking his team would win the tournament. I think that Winfrey sometimes get caught up with us student talk because we sometimes don’t get all our work done sometimes. I mean that my grade wasn’t good because I wasn’t coming to school sometimes because I got caught with my hood. I think a lot of people dieing history died because of this reason greed. Like Adolf Hitler in his lust and greed for power, when tried to exterminate all the Jews because he said they looked bad in the country during the holocaust. Hitler brought a lot of attention to himself when he tried this war which caused the World War 2. I think if he was silent instead of trying to get greedy and being ambitious he would have survived. He wanted too much just like Pahom which lead him to death like Pahom.I think that man only need as much land as his physical bodyc ould handle because if you try and take too much you might end up like Pahom. Because in the story Tolstoy them of losing everything. In this story Tolstoy was trying to teach as lesson about what Pahom had gone through. See Pahom tried to take more than what body could handle and he passed because of what his greed for land. The whole theme was trying to teach a lesson and the dealer how gave Pahom deal I think that he now Pahom would suffer this fate because he the dealer was devil just like everyone else expect Pahom. The story was trying to tell people not try and get greedy if they hear a good deal.So I only think you should only try and get as much as you can handle because of what might be the consecience of your life or something else you treasure.

Because I wasn’t going to go but I’m so happy that I did go because it’s something that I would change for the world. This hurricane also done so much property damaged to New Orleans that they practically have to rebuild the city. The hurricane also did some damage in Mississippi and a little in Alabama. It is said that the storm was formed over the Bahamas and then crossed southern Florida as a category one hurricane. The storm dissipated seven days later, on record its highest winds were up to175mph. This hurricane affected so many areas including Bahamas, South Florida, Cuba, Louisiana, New Orleans, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida Panhandle, and North America. It is said that at least 1,836 people died making the deadliest U.S. hurricane since Okeechobee Hurricane of 1928.

I think the person that been there for me all 4 years of high would have to be Ms. Hunter I would have say her because she have helped me with so much like thing with college or just talking to me about things about things that go on with me at home or a lot of the time problems that I have with boys. She helps me out a whole lot and she’s still helping me and I thank her for every thing. If it wasn’t for her I don’t think that I could have it thought High School. I didn’t know how to do any thing to get me into college I didn’t know where to started but thank god for her because she helped me with everything. it's his choice and it is base on his personality, is he
a forgivable person or is he is just a stubborn person that
will pick his traditions and religion over his own son happiness
I think he will stick with his traditions if it's his personality
and nothing can't go against what he beleive in. I belive thathe will see
his grandsons but continue his dislike toward his son and i know it's a hard decision for him.

Because I Messed Up
Because I messed up in school I've been feeling kind of down
I feel lost and as if I'll never be found
Because I messed up in school I feel like there is no hope for me
All I can do is wonder "How did I let this be?"
How did I go from being an honor student to becoming just another statistic?
All because no one would listen
Since I was not getting the attention that I felt I deserved
I tried to retaliate, but now I'm the one that's hurt
Because I messed up in school I am the one who is suffering
And it feel as if its not getting any better its just worsening
Because I messed up in school its a problem that I have to fix in time
because if I don't then I'll be the next one standing in the welfare line
It's funny because it was in school when I had made up my mind that I would stay focused so that I could become a successful poet
I earned my lesson now and believe that I 'll be on track soon
Because I have set a goal that I intend to accomplish and that to graduate in
JUNE

The advice that I would give an oncoming freshman is to stay focused. I would tell them to stay focused on their work rather than on these little boys or girls because it is not worth it. I would tell them that High School is what you make of it, it could go smooth if you make the right decisions, and it could be pretty rough if you make the wrong decisions. Another thing that I would tell them is to be careful who they hang around because that also effects your state of mind. If you hang around someone who only wants to party and hang out all night and does not have any goals set then nine times out of ten it is going to influence you to become careless as well.
I would advise them to keep their head into them books instead of in the streets.don't get me wrong you do need to be street smart in order to make it in this world, but what good is being street smart, and not have at least a high school education? To this day many people are struggling and are depressed because they dropped out of high school and they can't find a job and they're wishing that they would have done right in school. I'm just a senior and I'm already regretting messing up in school. I do not know what caused me to slip the way I did, but I truly wish that I had not did it. I remember my freshman year I took honor classes and was on the honor roll and had perfect attendance. My family was proud of me especially my sister. She used to go to work and brag about how I got an award for perfect attendance, and I got a certificate for being on the honor roll, and I ranked number 19 out of over four hundred students. During the middle of my junior year everything change.I started missing a lot of days out of school, I was tardy almost everyday. I had stopped paying attention in class, I had even started leaving school early, so therefore my grades started slipping.
Once my grades started slipping I got discouraged. I just thought to myself that it was not a need to continue going to school because I was too far behind anyway, so I had started missing even more days, and paying less attention in class. I also regret messing up my junior year because it also had an effect on me this year because May 15, 2008 is when I actually became an official senior because before then I was still a junior with a blue label on my id with the division number 931, and on top of that, I am still behind on my work and still in the position of failing, so yes If I could go back and change my experience as being a junior (in 2006-07) then I would and I would not have messed up the way that I had done.

What I like about his class is that he will let me sleep with no problem at all. But on the real side I like his class because he will give out the work a week early and don't want it back for about a week later. There is one thing I didn't like about Mr. Winfrey is that he will say that we can have a free day and he will just be playing around with us that made everybody mad because he will be playing. But other then that his class is off the chain and one of the funnest class I had all year around. I like Mr. Winfrey because he believe in me. I was not passing his class and he thought that I was going to give up, but I told him that I didn't come this far for none thing. So he gave me another change to began my grade up and I did. If Mr. Winfrey was not around I don't know what I will have o my report card. Like if I did finish my work on time he will let me get one or two days to finish it, that why I like his class. There is one more thing I have to say is I thought that the staff was going to win the game , but what happen. So don't talk if you can bag it up. I think the score was 72-77. But other then that his class is off the chain and one of the funnest class I had all year around. I like Mr. Winfrey because he believe in me. I was not passing his class and he thought that I was going to give up, but I told him that I didn't come this far for none thing. So he gave me another change to began my grade up and I did. If Mr. Winfrey was not around I don't know what I will have o my report card. Like if I did finish my work on time he will let me get one or two days to finish it, that why I like his class. There is one more thing I have to say is I thought that the staff was going to win the game , but what happen. So don't talk if you can bag it up. I think the score was 72-77. One of the detective said that the girl on the tape is in another investigation. So the judge told the detective to leave the court room because he didn't suppose to say everything like that in court in another case. R . Kelly lawyer said that is not R . Kelly on the tape because the man on the tape have a mole on his back, and when they looked at R . Kelly back there not a mole on his back.. And R . Some advice I will give a incoming freshman is to not hang out with the wrong group or crowd. I will tell he/she to join the football team because at is what cracking. My birthday is coming up the first thing I want to do is go shopping I want 3 pairs of new shoes and some outfits for the summer. Then I plan to go visit my family so I get my birthday gift hopefully the gift would be money so I can have a pocket full of money, I want enough money so I can do multiple things for that special day. I plan to have fun; I’m not into parties that much so I don’t want to have no party.
I want to go out with my friends, and have a good time.
I plan to go to Six Flags Great America. I haven’t been there in a while so it that would be a good place to go for my 18th birthday. Get on all the rides and the play games and get on the bumper cars. They have a new ride there but I forgot the name of it. Long as I have a good time
After that I plan to ride around and find somewhere to eat like ihop or something. Then maybe if the show is open we could go to he movies. After the show the day should be over and it should e late at night so I’m going to go home and see what my mother is doing and talk to her for a while, or I might pop some bottle to make the night more fun and advengerous. Yes, The Experience of Prom is overrated because people spend more money on prom night, they spend money on expensive cars that they ordinerally couldn't afford, elabrated dresses & tuxedos, jewelry and hairstyles that they are going to mess up in 2 days after prom, the tradition is to go to Great America where you will spend an additional $15 to get admitted into it and than the money a person spends is crazy to enjoy yourself while you are there.

If I Could Go Back And Change 1 Experience In H.S, What Would It Be?
If I could go back and change one experience I had in High School, I would change the relationship I had with my grandmother. On last night, my grandmother died at about 10:45 pm. All of my family was at the University of Illinois all day to keep a close eye on her. You really have to understand that my grandmother had so many issues and because of that, it was so hard for her to keep fighting. My grandmother had lung cancer, renal disease, a peculiar fungus in her blood, and so much more. I wish I could have done a lot more to help her. When we received the news, everyone begin to cry hysterically. It’s just so hard and cumbersome to do this without her because my grandma is what kept us together, and now I fear the direction in which our family will go. I graduate in two weeks and the simple fact that I can’t share that with my grandmother breaks my heart so badly and so suddenly. I am so awfully disgusted with my family because while my grandmother was lying in her bed all my family could do is argue about money and transportation to the funeral. To make a long story short, I wish I could did a lot more to help her.

The time I have spent in room 401 I have had a great time. We talked about everything, we laughed together and you was one of my favite teachers this year. You made sure everybody understnd before you gave us the work to do.You madeaway for everyone to pass your class. You made sure you did not give us that much work to do but we still learned something. What I liked about your class was that you had every thing laid out for us. You had everything for that time period on a sheet of paper so we could do something everyday and not just sit around.You tauhgt me more in one year then I learned in three years and I thank you for that.I did not have no dislikes I enjoyed everything. We've played alot of fun games for review you made sure that everyone was on the same level. when I needed help you were there to help me. You are one of the coolest teachers that I have had in a long time. You understand what us seniors was going through and you gave us a break. I appreciate it and thanks for all you have done.

I do not think that prom is overrated at all. Some people just take it in the wrong way. It’s like they listen to others about one part of it instead of the whole picture and that is what make some people think that it is overrated. I think that you have to make the best out of your prom. What I mean by that is, when you find your prom date, make sure that she is beautiful because that will have a big effect on your prom. After you have done that, make sure you get yourself a nice set of colors that match your existence because that also has an effect on your prom. I’m saying that these things will have a better effect on your prom because after you hear so many compliments, your day will be much brighter. After you have that taken care of you have to make sure that you have a top of the line rental car to drive. Now that you have your date, beautiful colors, and a hot car you are ready for the fun to start. Now you get the chance to ride around to see all your friends that are going on prom and take pictures with them. Once you get to prom you have to make sure that you don’t be the person that is sitting down all day. Dancing is the best part so make sure that is something you don’t forget to do. If your prom is serving good food make sure that you eat it because I missed out on that. After you have had all of this fun at prom taking pictures, eating, and dancing you have to go out to a restaurant and get something to eat because you are going to be hungry again. When you leave the restaurant go and hang out with your friends at a hotel and have the time of your life. Now tell me that that don’t sound like fun. I haven’t mention the fun your going to have the rest of the weekend.

This is my last bell ringer as a student at Harper high school. I have had a lot of ups and downs all my four years at Harper. I also had a lot of likes and dislikes about this class. Some of the things that I liked about room 401. Some of the things I liked about room 401 are that we have a lot of fun in room 401 and all of my friends are in the same class with me and we get to talk about what happen yesterday or the day before yesterday. Some other things that are fun about 401 are that we have fun project do with our group. This class is also easy to pass we use to have a lot of easy work the bell ringers can help us pass easily. When some one is failing the teacher lets the students to make up there missing assignments. He also lets us play basketball after school. The things I dislike about room 401is that he changed the way you teach the class he does not let any one make up any work he also changed the class to a college class. The work he gives use is too hard and we does not have a lot of time to do it. We do not have any little assignments all the assignments is a big project that is worth 20 percent of our grade. Mrs. Winfrey has been a really inspirational teacher since I have known him. He teaches the class the morals and values of how to prepare for the future.

If you could go back and change 1 experience you had in High School, what would it be? Why? What would you do differently?
If I could go back and change 1 experience that I had in High School it would be me talking to this boy one of my brother best friends. When we started talking he told me that he and his girlfriend was together no more so I started really liking him and I think he started feeling the same way. But all the time we was talking they was skill together so when school started back I find put that they was skill together so we stopped talking for about 2 to 3 weeks but then we back talking and at that point we started telling each other that we love each other. Things happen and a lot of the time I wish that didn’t but they and now I can’t get over them but if I could I really would go back in time and change things between him and I. The bad thing about it I still is really in love with him I don’t know why but I am I know that he still feel the same way but he still with her when he’s telling me that he’s not in love with her, he just with her just to be with her. I think if this between him and I wouldn’t happen I really think that all the things that going on now between me and her would not be happening but it is what it is now I really don’t like her and nothing that any body do could change that.

Is sex before marriage realistic in today’s society? Why or Why not?
Sex before marriage doesn’t main any thing now. If people cared about that now and days teenagers wouldn’t be having kids at a young age baby having baby now. If people wouldn’t have sex before marriage it wouldn’t be a lot of people with STD’s going around or Aid’s. It’s getting so bad that they saying that people as young as 13 years old is getting STD’s and Aid’s. When you think about it sex should be for the person you love because it is one of them things that you can get back why not keep for the one love. Love is one of them powerful thing and I know that people my think if you have sex with somebody that you love them or they love you when really that is not the truth because if a person is not willing to wait for you they don’t love you that just something they telling you so that you would have sex with them. LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL
My life after high school would be going to college. I want to see a change when high school is over and done. I want to be able to have a better education and be able to enjoy what I learn. Graduation is only getting me ready for the real world. I am going to college to get me set for my career. I plan on studying for psychology and deal with computers. I have taken steps such as reading and studying the meaning of what is means to be a psychologist. I have put in 92 percent of getting to where I want o be the other eight percent deals with graduating. I do all of this to be attentive for my career when I am done completing college. I have accomplished a lot and I am ready to get it all over with because my hard work is paying off.

Prom was great it was everything I imagined. It had it’s minor flaws with my date being there but overall it was hot.
Prom morning, I was awaken by this nasty cough than I realized it was me. So I complained to my mother about my head aching and she gave me some drugs and told me to take a hot bath. I did, and it helped the coughing but my head was still banging. I left the house to go pick up my check from work and cash it. It was a nice little amount $179.51. I used my mother debit card most of the day for important things.
Prom afternoon, I went to go get my hair, makeup, and body jewelry. It didn’t feel like it took that long but it obviously did. So my hair stylist and I drove quickly but safely back to her house. Than the hair and makeup magic began. She took two hours to finish and I was running out the door when my mom was coming in to pick me up!
Prom night, we raced home. We stopped in front of the dry cleaners to get my freshly steamed dress. I went home and my sister helped me get dressed my mother reapplied lip stick and lip-gloss. She also rubbed me down with shimmer and glitter and put glitter in my hair. Now, it was picture time we took pictures all night, even at prom.
Prom is a party where you go to show up and show out, and it was the best!

It’s the middle of the crunch at the end of the school year, but nobody is talking about school work, which classes they’re flunking or which teachers they hate. The topics of today’s lunchroom chats are all centered on dresses and dates. It’s that time again: the Prom is just around the corner. Since before I came to high school I’ve been an opponent of this time-honored tradition. Stop and think for a moment: do you really know why there are proms? The answer is simple. Back in the good old days, when almost no one went beyond high school, and many didn’t finish it, the people of various communities needed a way to get their daughters married. What they came up with was an ancestor of the modern prom. The original purpose of a prom was to meet your mate before you walked up the aisle. This is a seriously outdated concept. No one with any sense gets married as a teenager anymore. Besides the origin of the prom, I dislike how drastically it has changed. Sure it might be a good idea to get young people of opposite sexes to realize each other exist, but is that really what goes on at a modern prom? I doubt it. In my experience, high school dances, and junior high school ones for that matter, don’t really encourage meeting people. For one thing, the lights are usually so low you can hardly see. The music is often so loud that conversation is impossible. To suggest that high school-aged kids don’t realize there are members of the opposite sex out there is also rather dated. How often do you hear the term “teen pregnancy?” This is one of the places those statistics come from. If you were smart, would you put a bunch of teens together in a dark room where you can hardly hear yourself scream? Would you do it if there was little way for you to know if alcohol was being brought in? I’d just rather be able to see what I’m doing. I’d also like to be able to talk to people, meet people. I thought that was the intent of these things anyway. If we must have a prom, could it be less focused on dresses and dates? Could we do something besides dancing, groping and falling down drunk? Maybe we don’t need to get rid of proms, just change them. Perhaps we don’t even need to do that. If we could have other events, not just dances and football games, wouldn’t it better accomplish that original goal – to get young people together outside the classroom?

Sex before marriage is brought up a lot now a days. Many religious people
firstly are the ones who look the most at this subject.In my opinion if a person chooses to have sex before marriage that is his or her own decision, but you should choose your answers wisely.
The population of STD's is growing widely throughout the world,
because of unprotected sex, and much more. There are more and people
women getting pregnant from unprotected sex, and then giving up the child
for adoption, or much worse abortion. The way I see if, if your immature
enough to get pregnant, you should women or man up and raise this child
This child deserves a life, the same as you, and you made the decision
to bring this child into the world when you had unprotected sex.In my other point of view, I think waiting until marriage is a smart idea. Because if you have made it to the marriage part it shows that you obviously do love one another, and your ready to take your relationship
to the next level.
So when making this decision to give up a very important part of your life to
someone, make sure it is someone you love and someone you feel safe with.

Prom night for me was something I wished I had experienced but unfortunately I was to busy to attend it. It sound like to me that everybody had a blast at prom and had a really great night while i sat home and thought about how much I wanted to go there. I know it sounds dumb but I really didn't have a date because the person i wanted 2 go with she didn't want to go anymore but I'm bot putting all the blame on her because I was a little unsettled at first but looking back at it I would have done things differently.
Is sex before marriage realistic in today's society? No, I feel that if your not having sex, good. In my state of mind now, sex can be a wonderful thing. So why would you abuse the previlegde to experience a new feeling. Marriage before sex only exist in fairytales. In my opinion I feel that their's only a matter of time before a young girl is wheeled in. No matter the race it will find you. To me, when your in the bed with a girl, you get a feeling and you want to do is have sex. It's a uncontrollable herg. It's very hard to stop thinking about, it's always on mind. I don't want to make it seem like that what we always think about, because girls think about the same thing also, espeacially if there significant other is doing what they suppose to do. It make the situation much easy.
