A Warrior's Letter

January 31, 1939

Hello my name is Edithon McDezzle and I'm one of the people who the king wants to fight in this thing I think we call "war". Grendel is a very sneaky monster that comes at night and destoy alot of things and hurts people. I don't really have no fears about this war except the fact that i might not come home to my family. I spent alot of time thinking about this and I realize if I do go fight then maybe when i get their yes then i will have a reason to fight. But i'm scared that he might actually do some damage if we come and try and hurt him. I find myself sometimes just sitting here wondering about things like that but thats to my least worries. Before i've actually tried to fight i've sat back and looked at how the warriors come back in distraught. Well i'm stronger than that so if i go out their then i'm going for every cause not just one.
