Essay Topics: Character sketch

In this essay i'm going to descibe the "Miller" of the "Canterbury Tales", how he impacted the other characters; how his story described what type of person he was, and the way he was descibed and how he was portrayed in the movie and book.
During the journey to Canterbury the characters had each took turns telling there stories to occupy time until they had finally arrived to there destination. As each character had begun to tell there stories one after another, it was the priest turn to tell his story when he was rudely interrupted by the "Miller".
The "Miller" was looked upon as a rude drunk, and a very barbaric man. A man who seemed to want his way with woman but could never have them because of his behavior. The Miller seemed to be a man who didnt learn much literately but knew things by sight or knew things when handled phycically. His pyhsical features also supported his barbaric ways. The "Miller" was a large man who was very physical with things. He was also made to seem as if he was strong and didn't need help when he was lifting or pushing things that exceeded his size.
The "Miller" had impacted the other characters in a way that he tested their patitence; for example when he interuppted the priest to tell his story, which made the "Miller" seem as if he was up front and vegue when it came to his drunken sexual stories. Stories of adultrey and affairs which maybe offended the Nun and Narrator.
