In the merchant’s tale it was more a comedy tale and the merchant’s tale was a tale about the search for love. The merchant’s tale was a tale of romance. It told of an elderly guy in his 60's deciding to look for love.
He wanted to marry a young woman that is a maiden of the city. In his mind in felt that in life men and women should get married and someday he would like a child to inherit his riches. January’s wish came true when he married women named May. Somehow January wanted to make sure this was the person he was suppose to be with. The miller’s tale is a more comedy tale that is sure to deliver a laugh. Two individuals were having a secret affair and they had been having this for some time. Finally one day when they snuck down in the basement and they thought no one would know. Apparently the suppose it lover knew and wanted to hear from his wife. So e asked for a kiss but instead it was the buttocks to play a play on her suppose it lover. The very final time he got a huge fart in his face. Both tale are made to have there different roles and morals to that of the reader’s. The merchant and the miller are after the same prize.
Once again the prize is to have extra privileges of getting the dinner paid for. Both tales are about the same time and at times involve the people of the village.I enjoyed both the merchant tale and miller’s tale.
