The Pardoners Tale

The Canterbury Tell was good, but my most favorite out of all the tales would have to be the Pardoners Tale. that tale was the most interesting to me for the most part. i enjoyed reading that tale.this tale was mostly about a group of ypoung people, who had always spent their time drinking, and reveling. and after commenting on their lives, Pardoners that is life style of debauchery, the Pardoner enter into a tirade against themselves they practice. gluttony was identified as the sin that first caused the fal of mankind in eden. as they used to drink, they would also be gambling, which would cause the men to seem very mad and witless as they would say in other words angry or weak. gambling would cause the men to lose wealth and and men of power.
The Pardoner was like kind of wrong, becuase he told people that he preaches solely, he admitted that to them, but he only does that to get money which is wrong he doesnt do that to correct sin either. he was arguing that many sermons are are evil intentions. by the pardoner preaching, he could get revenge back from anyone who had offended him or his brethren. the pardoner always preaches about covetousness, the vice that he is gripped by. the pardoners one and only interest is to fill his pockets. The Pardoner was the type of person who would rather take the last of anything from a widow and her starving family than to give up his own money to someone.
The pardoner accuses his self of fraud, avarice, and gluttony, the very things that he preaches. it would be possible to argue that the pardoner sacrifices his own spiritual goods to cure the sins of others. but the pardoner doesnt really consider his spiritual corruption a real sacrifice, since he loves the money and the conforts it brings him.
this tale mainly shows the disastrous effects of greed.
