My Favorite Place

Growing up, I always felt as if I was an outcast towards society. I always felt different from what you’d consider an “average kid”. But I liked being different from everyone else. I have a very unique and original artistic ability I never knew other people had as well. Until one day, I stepped inside Chiaroscuro, an art gallery which was inside the Water Tower Place. The minute I stepped inside Chiaroscuro, I felt as if I was I saw heaven on earth. Vivid colors and vivacious art pieces from artists worldwide hung on the walls. I felt as if I was inside the mind of Dr.Seus. I was in a moment of pure ecstasy. If I had to give you a description and image of what my definition of heaven is, Chiaroscuro would define it in a heartbeat. What was even better about it was that not only was it a breath taking art gallery it was also a gift shop. It was affordable to the extent were it wasn’t because you waned everything you laid eyes on. Stepping inside Chiaroscuro changed my life. It made me realize that there are other artistic individuals like myself, out there. They’re just rare, which made me feel even more special about myself and my artistic abilities. It made me feel even more special about myself and my abilities. It made me assure myself that I was a diamond in the rough and that I just needed to be patient before I was able to explore and travel to see what unique artistic things life had to offer. Chiaroscuro had many different types of art for sale. From hand painted wooden chairs, to hand jeweled crystal jewelry boxes, to unique handmade purses made from candy wrappers.
