Favorite Song

        When people ask me what my favorite song is I’m never really able to just pick one song because it’s just not possible. I think it’s safe to say that I’ve listened to a lot of music in my life and I like and love a lot of music. But there's always one song that never fails to give me a nostalgic feeling and make me feel like this is the perfect song. The song is called M.I.A. (Mission Impossible Accomplished) by Capital Steez ft. Junior Bell. M.I.A is a beautiful song that has great lyrics and a great message. The rapping has good flow, rhythm, and it tells a great story that may seem cliché at first but the song is done well because it can always tell a different story as long as the listener keeps an open mind. The instrumental is also amazing because it sounds so old and has a great sounding production. The background vocals are also simple but so soothing. This song has got me through a lot mentally and spiritually. My first encounter with this song was so memorable for me because when I found this song I was shocked because this explained my exact situation. There were no curse words and no disrespectful phrases. Nothing like that only a poem about the disasters of love and fighting the obstacles that comes with trying to love someone. It helped me push through all those bad days I had and helped me realize that my best option would be to move on because if I don't I’ll just waste my time on something that wasn’t meant to be. I love M.I.A. and their never goes a day where I don't listen to this song. This song is my relief and this song helped me accomplish mission impossible. Thank you and rest in peace Capital Steez.
