Favorite Place Story

My favorite place to go has to be this place called Wolf Lake. Going there takes a looong time walking. I first went there because my friend was gonna meet his girlfriend there. He told me that she was gonna take her friends Bryan and Rachael, and he told me to go then. So we went here plenty of times. First time we walked. Worst thing ever to do. It took us like 2 hours to get there. We had to take a bike trail all the way over there so its mostly one road the whole time. So the many next times we went, we took bikes. When we biked it there it took us like 45 minutes so it was alright. The way there is quite fun so I didn’t really mind. The only bad thing was the super hot summer weather. Theres extremely sweaty people running on that trail, lots of bikers in their tights. We would prep ourselves by taking a backpack carrying a few gatorade or water bottles because the trip is so dehydrating. Getting there you would see so many new faces every day, and we did go everyday. So we saw a lot of new people. After the bike and you actually got to the “lake” you would arrive in a area where theres a lot of recreational areas like playgrounds and large benches for people who wanna have cookouts I guess. Thats where we would normally meet the girls at. The first time we got there we chilled at the playground for a bit cause they wanted to. After a while we moved into the woods area. Now thats where all the cool stuff is at. Theres weird looking orange squirrels and lots of annoying bugs. Most of the area has like a musty, wet feel to it, I guess cause its a wood area? Theres literally a lake right next to the woods, its a muddy looking lake and there was always fishermen in their little boats out in the lake fishing. The whole place is pretty big, we got lost many times. Theres also these guys in little cars who drive around patrolling the place to keep “troublesome” kids or teens out of doing bad things. Around the place theres signs telling you about different animals that are around, it mostly tells about very colorful birds and fish and a squirrel. Everytime we went we encountered new things, we seen people dirt biking, we seen a deer once. It really is a fun place to go if you’re gonna go with friends. Whether you’re gonna go just to chill or to go do stupid things in the woods, it’s a very fun place to be.
