"Going to Work with Mommabear"

 

Ever since you left I think about you mostly everyday, now that your gone everywhere I go I just feel like your there you've left so many memories I think about them everyday. I won't ever forget that day I went to work with you by 55th and St. Louis at the Clinic, think that was that was the very first time I went to work with you. It was a Saturday you had to go to work you woke me up and it was 7:56am you said " Mija, wake up! do you want to go to work with me?" my mom asked. " What? I'm tired ma it's too early c'mon its the weekend let me sleep" I said. "Please mija your dad took the car so that means I have to take the bike to work, and I don't want to go alone c'mon mija I'll let you buy junk food yeah" my mom said. "Okay fine then I'll go ma" I said. "Oh eso si verdad you just want to go for the junk food right lazy" my mom said. " No, so that means I can use the link to buy junk food right ? haha" I said. " You see, but yeah you can use it now get ready mija! she said. " Ok ya voy" I said. It was 8:08am my Mom had to be at work at 9:10am to start opening the Clinic. " Ya you ready?" she asked. " Yeah I'm ready" I said. "Ok lets go then, help me get the bikes out the garage mija" so me and my mom went to the garage to get the bikes out. " Ma why can't we just take the bus to work?" I asked. " Really? stop being lazy we need to exercise either way" she said and laughed. " Omg ma I should've  just stayed but I'm going cause I'm hungry ha ha" I said. "Ok lets hurry I don't wan to run late" she said. The weather was pretty good that day, it wasn't that hot it was a bit warm. So me and my mom were on are way to work, It wasn't that far from where we lived but honestly I was so lazy I didn't want to go on the bikes. Since me and my mom took the bikes only one of them didn't have any breaks. Guess who took that bike? My Mom. On the way to work I kept laughing at her cause the only way she can break was with her feet lol. " Yet you wanted to go to work like that ma? haha" I said. " Ya callate Cabrona stop laughing at me or else I'm going to make you take this bike" She said. I just kept laughing on the way to work, it was pretty funny the fact that she can only break with her feet. We finally arrived at the Clinic. " Mija can you park the bikes in the back please? while I go open the Clinic" she said. " Ok  "  I said. So my Mom went inside the Clinic while I went to go put the bikes away, soon as I put them away I went inside. " Thanks Mija I love you! if you want you can go to the corner store to buy whatever but don't buy too much junk food ok we'll get some tortas when I'm on break ok? she said " Okay Ma, I love you too!" I said. I went to go sit down while my Mom is does her job I turned on the TV so watch something but there was nothing really on so I turned it off and closed my eyes for a bit cause I was a bit tired I fell asleep for at least 20 min. " Ey lazy wake up! your not going to go to the corner store?" she asked. " Yeah I'll go in a bit I'm still sleepy ma" I said. " Well Mija you think you can go now and get me a Gatorade and some Eminem's please" she said. " Really ma?! fine." I said. " Thank you I love you mi gordita presiosa" she said. So my Mom gave me the Link card and I went to the corner store across the street I really liked that corner store because she sell so many good Mexican candies! I bought what my Mom asked for and I bought some ice cream and some hot chips and some really good Mexican candies such as Masapanes, Salagheti, rellerindos, pulparindo, etc. so once I bought all that I went back to the clinic. "Thanks Mija, what did you buy?" she asked. " This..." I said. so I showed her what I bought. " Really Gorda?" she said " What I was hungry" I said. " Go sit down I'll be off in a bit so we can buy something to eat ok." she said " Yay Okay" I said. So I sat down and began to eat my junk food while I wait for my Momma, 30 min later..  " Ok let's go get some tortas mija" my mom said. "omg yes finally I'm hungry!" I said. Me and my Mom went to this ice cream place where the sell tortas and more things it was called " La Michoacana" once we went inside I went to go sit down at the table. " What do you want mija?" she asked, " Una torta de queso palena without jalapenos" I said. "Okay, and to drink?" my mom asked. "A 7-up" I said.  So my Mom went to go order the food, few min later she walked over to the table with the food. " Here this one is yours mija" she said " Thank You Ma" I said. " Denada Mija, Thanks for coming work with me!" She said. "Your welcome ma, it was fun coming with you, since you always make me laugh at the things you do. Thanks ma" I said " Siguele cabrona, what so I'm your clown?" She said. " No it's just you do some things that make me and Jennifer laugh and it's a good thing ma, I'm so lucky I have you!" I said. " Thanks Mija, well I'm lucky that God blessed me with amazing kids! I love you guys a lot." she said " Awe we love you to Ma!" I said. We talked more and enjoyed our delicious Tortas once we were done we went back to the Clinic. "Okay Mija well I have one more hour to go and then we can go home ok Chiquita" She said. " Okay Ma" I said. so I went to go sit down, it was 3pm my mom had an hour left so we can go home, she gets out t 4pm. Meanwhile I closed my eyes and slept for a little bit to kill sometime while my mom works. " Mija ya I'm almost done then we can go ok" My Mom said. "Okay Ma" I said. 30 more min till we leave. " Hey ma can I borrow your phone to watch some music videos on youtube?" I asked. " Sure mija go ahead." she said. " Thanks ma" I said. So I began to watch some music videos like Lil wayne, 50 cent, Drake, etc. 15 more minutes to go! I really wanted to go home already because I was tired of sitting on the same chair my butt usually hurts for sitting to long. " Okay Mija we're almost leaving so be patient ok" she said. " Don't worry ma take your time I'll wait till your done" I said. so finally it was 4pm! my Mom finally got off of work. " Okay let's go Mija" my mom said. We went to the back where we left the bikes, we start to leave. On the way home..." Ay Mija I'm so tired." she said. " Why ma?" I asked. " I barely sat down mija I had to take care of the patients" she said. " Awe I feel you ma, well once we get home you can take a nap or something." I said. " Yeah that's what I'm going to do mija" My mom said. We finally arrived after a long day at work, even though I did nothing but sit down and eat junk food but at least I came with my Mom so she wouldn't be  alone. After all it was fun going with her but I didn't get to hang with my mom that much because she was busy. " Ay por fin!" my mom said. " Omg yes we are home now! time to sleep!" I said. Me and my mom went to go put the bikes away in the garage. We went inside the house, my mom just walked in her room and layed on her bed. "Mija come nap with me yeah?" She asked. " Of course ma, ill take a little nap with you" I said. We layed on my Moms bed. " When your dad gets home hopefully he makes something to eat cause I am so tired I don't feel like cooking right now" She said. " Ma you know he's probably not going to do it cause he always expects you to do it." I said. " I know, but lets just hope when we wake up he made something at least." She said. "Hopefully" I said. " Well anyways, thanks for coming to work with me Mija! I love you so much, next time come with me again ok. " My mom said. " Your welcome, thanks for taking me and buying me food ma! next time ill go again." I said, " Okay Mija, we'll lets nap I'm tired." she said. " Okay Ma" I said. I had a good day at her Job it was fun and a little bit tiring because I was still tired, but at least I went with my mom so she wont be by herself and we got to eat some good tortas. I still wish she was here so I can go to work with her everyday but one day I will get to see her again. I'm just glad that I got to share so many memories with her!<3
