The God Of Love are the eyes that are watching all of the three husbands. Yes they question god because their wondering if god punished them for how they treated Janie.
The God Of Love are the eyes that are watching Hurston's characters because he wants to see if Logan,Joe,or Tea Cake are the right man for her. Their god is a evil god because he killed Logan,Joe,and Tea Cake. Yes they question god because their wondering if god punished them for how they treated Janie. Like Logan made her do things like work. Joe only cared for his town and didn't care about Janie's feelings.
Tea Cake was good to Janie but when he was bit by the dog he rabies and Janie killed him. That was gods way in punishing her husbands.
