Long Live Gudda
Dustin Aytch
Winfrey 8th
This story takes place on Chicago’s Southside. There were three boys named Dee, Gudda, and Cheese they were part of a clique called Young Money. One day when they were coming from school they saw a boy named Maul who was a part of a different and also rival gang called Brick Squad. Dee screams out to their rival gang member “what’s up with you Maul what you trying do now”. Maul see’s the 3 guys and takes off running up the 43rd st. strip. Once Maul made it to the safe mark territory he began to slow down and he taunted and said things to the Young Money members. Chesse was real paranoid about the southside because he wasn’t from out there and the only reason that they even did travel to the southside was because Gudda had to make a run out there to get something from his girl friend’s house. After, police began to come because of the commotion many people began to move around and they headed towards the 43rd st. Green line stop so they could get on the train and head back to the city’s Westside. When they made it to the station they saw a black altima which every knew that Maul had drove around the city. He was parked outside of the liquor store letting everyone know what he had just got into with the Young Money clique. Dee said lets just walk pass low key and they wont see us so as they were walking into the station the light outside of it gae them away and maul saw them. He yelled to his goons to bust at they ass and they took off pass the guards and hopped staright over the gate to the train and then shots rang out all thru the 43rd st. quiet night. Dee and Cheese were up the stairs by the time the first 3 gat off but they couldn’t find Gudda so they were starting to get worried about what had happened to him or if he got caught by the guard . The train was pulling into the station when they saw Gudda coming up the elevator. Dee calls out yo where you was ta man stop fucking around man you trippin what if they would have got yo ass then what you would’ve did he just laughed it off and said come on dis G you talking about. G a.k.a. Gudda was a husy guy who was really cocky he stood about 5”7 and he was a very funny cat. When they got onto the train G was talking about all dis ducking and dodging got me real hungry. Cheese said we gone grab something when we get back out west but G said he wanted to get something now and he was suggesting that everyone get off on 35th and Cheese was just saying that he could wait but he wasn’t going to. When the train pulled up to 35th Dee told him that they weren’t going to get off with him and he know dis Brick Squad territory and he said he didn’t give a Fuck who’s shit this is . When the train stopped G got off and they were about to follow but they stayed on. When they reached clark and lake they tried to call his phone but he had cut it off so they figured he was upset so they jus ignored it . When they made it to the Ave. they tried callin him again and again so they just sat back and chilled for a few hours and still no call so they decided to go by G’s. While they were walking up the block they we just talking like man joe I wonder what happened with G” and why he never hit that line back.. As they were walking down the ave. they ran into Broomfield by sams and he was telling them that dem peoples was out there on harding so be cool and don’t be too hott. When they got back on harding they saw a detective’s car sitting out front of G’s house and the door was open Dee immediately ran in and Cheese right behind him when they got in they saw G’s mother brother, and sister crying as Detectives showed his mother a picture asking was this her son Gregory Hines and she just fell to the floor as she looked at the picture. Cheese asked the police what happened with G and they told them that he was shot on the city’s southside right off of 35th street by someone in an all black Altima. When the police asked them if they knew anyone who drove this type of vehicle or anyone that might want to hurt Greg they replied no. Cheese looked at Dee as if this was something they had to happen because they knew exactly who had done it. After they left their Cheese went to grab his gun and he also have gave Dee one and they hopped back on the train heading back towards the Brick Squad’s kick it spot. They made a plan to get off at 35th at first but then Cheese saw a way they could get the crew without even being touched or seen and that was 41st street stop it was located right behind their trap house. When they finally made it to the stop they were very paranoid by the time the doors opened on 41st. They could see the trap house and the black Altima that the police claim that they were on top of yeah right. When they approached the house they made sure no one saw them as they ran into the trap. When they ran in they saw Maul and some bussa at the table counting money and they were shocked to see what happen and Maul even had on the chain G was wearing earlier. He already knew why they were there and he told them they didn’t know what they were getting themselves into and if they touched him or his baby mama then it would be Hell. He went on to say that he didn’t care 2 shits about Young Money and he would never honor our group. Dee responded to him real niggas fucked with G and I don give a fuck who don’t. Then he blew his baby mama’s head clean off and Cheese asked him how did he feel after that and then shot him 2 but he shot Maul in the spine and they took off running out the back door all you heard was sirens everywhere and they made it back to the green line station safely as Maul lay there suffering never being able to walk again and his first born killed and baby mama and now he has to live with the same pain and nobody wins in this battle for Big “G”
