My music was Dixieland Jazz Music. This type of music consist of ragtime, brass. It was really started with the African but the white man stole it from the Africans. The music Dixieland Jazz was created in the early 1910s in New Orleans. Their are many famous artist that you might know that have played Dixieland Jazz such as Louis Armstrong some of his Dixieland Jazz songs are "Jazz Lips, Dear Southland, The coquette." Another artist is Jimmy LaRocca his songs consist of "Who's Sorry Now." "The Original Dixieland" Band played the best Dixieland Jazz music The reason Africans started this type of music is because they was the World War One .
