One of the most important thing to me in the book was when they were all at tarrah party. roylin was talking about hakeem and he went over to him because he was mad and he hit roylin in his face. Roylin went running into the parking lot and he got shot in the head. Hakeem thought it was all his fought and wanted to go see if he was okay.him and darcy went to the hospital to see if he was okay. The next important part of the story was when Darcy old friend brisana was trying to go with hakeem. The only reason that brisana was doing that was because she felt like Darcy had dropped her and started hanging out with her new friends cooper and tarrah. Brisana and Darcy use to always talk about them . after Darcy got to know them she started to like them. Darcy and brisana had a argument about everything that was going on and Darcy felt bad. Darcy did not know that brisana felt this way. After this was all said and done Darcy and brisana became back friends. at the end of the the story dad was trying to come back into his family life. What made him want to do that was because he got stabbed and was tried of driving pass people houses and they were with there families.they mother don’t want him back into her life because he walked out on her once she thinks he will walk out on her again. Jamee want him back. When he started coming back around she started acting good. Darcy at first didn’t want him to come back because of what he did. Only reason she tried to make things right because of what roylin little told hers at the hospital
