BR: "People should fight for their country because their country asked, regardless of personal feelings". Do you agree or disagree with this quote? More important, why?

I completely disagree with this quote. When a person is sent off to war, there is no guarantee that they'll be coming back. Some people, who are pro-life, are against killing people. Obviously, this can cause this person to either spend time in jail, or die on the battlefield because they chose to not kill someone. When there is a war, there're many people that get sent off without ever wanting to participate, wanting to stay with their families and/or just live the life that they're living without any more drama.
