Some One To Love Me



This was a really good book. Young people these days can really relate to the main character Cindy. Cindy had problems at home with her mom because her mom didn’t pay any attention to her because she always spent all o her free time with her boyfriend Raffie Whitaker. When Cindy would try to spend time with her mom she would just blow her off and tell her that she already made plans with her drug dealing boyfriend Raffie. When Cindy didn’t find love at home she went to her friend ex-boyfriend Bobby Wallace and he was nothing but trouble. Cindy friend Darcy Wills who used to go with Bobby Wallace tried to warn Cindy that Bobby was no good and he used to hit her and smoke weed but Cindy didn’t listen because all she wanted was somebody to love her like he did. So she didn’t care what everybody else was saying . So she also turned to her neighbor Ms. Rose Davis as a mother figure so everytime she needed advice . When Cindy was out with bobby at a Chinese takeout she noticed a smoke gray car that her mom boyfriend drives and bobby went out to talk to who ever that was and when he came back into the restaurant Cindy asked was that somebody name Raffie Whitaker in that car and he said that was his uncle and then he just started snapping on her. When they left there he took her to some row houses where they were shooting up and Cindy didn’t like that at all. At the end of the book Cindy mother finally realize that Raffie was a drug dealer.
