Well I do agree with Mrs. Davis when she says ‘a mother ought not’ to leave her child alone for so long at home for a weekend because anything can happen at anytime of the day, and no matter what the parents say they are still responsible for what happens. I think that in order for a person to stay home alone for a weekend is that they should be grown. I feel that since they are grown they are more responsible then a teenager being in a house by there self. A grown up they can cook for there self and they can have as many friends as they want to be over the house because they are grown and more responsible and can clean up after there self. A teenager they might try to through a house party and something bad might jump off. People might start to act all crazy and then they break something. People might start to fight. That’s why I say a person should be grown in order to be left home alone for the weekend. That’s why I think Cindy mother was wrong for just leaving her in the house by her self to go out with her boyfriend. That was my part in the book that I liked and felt like it was wrong.
