My stance on this whole situation is I think this issue is getting out of hand.
I believe the violence is escalating too much among a lot of the Chicago youth.
In my heart I feel something needs to done for a better solution to this growing problem.
I look at this growing abnormal trend as a cry for help from the urban youth.
This new everyday harmful situations now dictate the whole CPS.
Upon reading this article it hit me these scenarios are starting to play out more the same.
It’s a shame you pick up your local paper or the tribune and the top story reads another slain Chicago student.
This issue of school violence is going up and down the educational scale.
Now it’s ranging from grammar school, up to college, our highest institution of learning.
Everyday I now find myself screaming at the television “when is something going to be done!”
I hope in my heart it won’t take another class room full of slain students to get the message.
I have one huge question, “If the present is killed, how will there be a future?”
Is violence all we know in our way of life?
I strongly disagree with that statement.
The important thing to remember is it takes more than one person to cause a movement.
I believe that’s just the same as you can’t open a door with one finger.
I know we can strongly learn from these everyday experiences.
The key thing is that we must break this violent cycle of living.
