Kwame Patterson
3rd period
I like my book because it was about me. It described me when I entered high school and started to play football as a freshman. It described how I came in as a short, fat slow dude that played on the offensive line. Then my senior year I had developed into an athlete. My sophomore year I had moved from the offensive line to cornerback which was my position that I chose to play. Then it talked about the games I played in my senior year. The first game I played in we won 40-0. The second game I played in was the first game of the season that I was challenged and we won 34-8. The third game of the season we played Dunbar and we won 8-0 the first time we beat them in cardinal history. The fourth game of the season we won 38-14. The fifth game of the season was when we received our first lost we lost to Robeson 18-6. The sixth game of the season we won 28-8. The seventh game we won 50-0 at homecoming. The next game we won 50-0 at Corliss homecoming. The ninth game of season was a playoff game we won 34-0. The tenth game of the season was a state playoff game and I had to take the ACT test the same day, we lost 45-0. The next game was the city playoff and we ran into a team that we played during the regular season we ended up beating them 34-22. The last game of the season we lost to Curie and the season was over. That’s the reason I liked my book because it was about me and my senior football season.
