I think it definitely makes a difference. As a freshman and sophomore, I was so immature and rude and I knew nothing about life. However, if a senior wants to date a sophomore who is only a year younger than them, it's fine. But the limit is a year younger/ a year older. If both parties are out of high school and are of legal age, I think the age difference should be no more than 10 years. I dunno that's just me.
