Diamond: So what are you feelings about teenagers getting killed for unacceptable reason?
TaLana: I feel that it’s wrong but I don’t have like a real reaction to it because nothing ever happen to me or anyone in my family like that
Diamond: do you have any children that are teenagers or will soon be teenagers?
TaLana: Yes. I do have a 11 year old daughter that I keep a close eye on because of what’s going on in the world. Its not that I don’t trust her, it’s just that it’s so much going on in the world that even the good kids are getting killed.
Diamond: so I take it that you have heard what happened to that boy Derrion Albert?
TaLana: Yes I have heard what happen and I really think those people that did that should never see the outside world again because I never thought that the good kids were targeted.
Diamond: Why do you think he was targeted?
TaLana: I think he was targeted because those boys were less fortuned and they were jealous of him.
Diamond: Was the violence as bad when you were 16?
TaLana: Not that I know of but I highly doubt it
