How much land does a man need ?

I think that the ending was the most believable one someone could come up with. Why? Because if you look at how the story ended the only other way it could have ended was to make it unbelievable. So I think that the story ended like it should in this case. Only because the moral of this story is that greed will imprison us all. Usually the most believable story happen when people least expect it to happen. In all actuality I think the man in this story was a great representation of a human being in the real world. Why? Because most human beings are the type who want material things in their life in order to feel complete. Not me though I mean don’t get me wrong I do like nice things but I wouldn’t need them all through my life to make me happy that why I have family, friends, and most of all my girlfriend for happiness. But I do think that the story did end the way it should have just because of how they represented the fact of how real people are. Finally what person do you know that wouldn’t have taken that offer like he did. Because you know what I would have. This story was somewhat a bore though except when you really get into the conflict and plot of the story. So what do you think you would have done in his situation? That would make a great story you should think about it and write it out just to see how you would have reacted.
