Dear Mamma,
Hi mom this is your son Richie. How is you and kenny doing, fine I hope. I am just writing to you from war. It is going o.k so far but it is just my leg that is battering me. Mamma I miss you and Kenny and at times I be wondering if I am going to ever see you both again. Mamma tell Kenny that I really miss him alot and that Iam out here fighting at war so that I can give him a better life. Mamma I hope that Jimmy is taking good care of you and Kenny because he told me he would look after yall while I am at war and I hope he is. Mamma I love you and Kenny and I just hope that I would be able to see you both again. I say that because I don't know if I am going to be next to die or what. I am just here fighting and praying that I will see you and Kenny again. So mamma I just hope you and Kenny is o.k and can you just pray for me. I hope to see you soon.
