Letter back home

Dear Mama,

I know it's been some time now since I left you and Kenny, but I just want you to know that I'm doing well and fighting for us and our country every single day. I love you all, and I have to say that the goodbye I gave you all before I left was a little too short. We're getting ready to make another move on the enemy, Mama, and it looks like we just might win this war. All I can ask you to do is pray for us and pray every single day. I want you to tell my little brother to be strong and stay smart, because I'll never give up on him and never stop believing what he's capable of. Tell him to never come here, mama, because I don't want my little brother experiencing violence, even though his brother was so anxious to dive head first into all of this. I love the both of you and I am praying for you on the other end.
