Sarina Glover Animal Farm Summary

· This book was really boring to me so it was really hard for me to read. But what I read so far was that they were introducing the animals to the people. They were saying how Old Major was a middle white prized boar who was way ahead o f them how he knew thing that they did not. Old Major had called all the animals to the barn to give a speech. In that speech he was saying that was no need for man or humans above them. He stated that their lives were miserable, laborious, and short. That are given very little but giving much more than they can handle. So they fill it’s time to do something about it well he fill it’s about time they do something about. Since Mr. Jones was an alcoholic he didn’t treat them right so the only way they would get what they want only if they took over the farm. Now that he has they undivided attention they would get the animals to do anything they wanted them to do. All it took was voting. While giving a speech two little rats crept in and listen to what was being said. It was not long before the dogs caught sight of them. “Comrades,” here is appoint need to be settled. The wild creatures, such as rats and rabbits are our friends or our enemies? That’s when everything started to happen. When Mr. Jones died I would say that’s when things started getting bad. Mr. Jones died in his sleep and for three months the animals started making secret rules and little preparations to carry out the old pigs dying wish of wrestling control of the farm from Mr. Jones. With the two smartest pigs Napoleon and Snowball together with a silver tongued pig named Squealer they form the principles of animalism and other thing to give to the other animals. At first many animals had found the animalism hard to understand because they have been growing up thinking that Mr. Jones was their master. By summer the news of the animal farm had spread over half the country. Mr. Pilkington and Mr. Frederick had feared that farm might be in jeopardy with their animals. Since they are rivalry with each other that prevents them from working together. to take down the animal farm. After Old Major died the pigs just wanted to rule everything. Now they have their own commandments
· What ever goes upon two legs is an enemy
· Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings is a friend
· No animal shall wear clothes
· No animal shall sleep in a bed
· No animal drink alcohol
· No animal shall kill any other animal
· All animals are equal

The main thing that had got to me was that all animals are equal-but some are more equal than others. How can animals be equal than others that is un possible to me. Those were the seven important commandments that the animals thought would be good if the animals would follow them.
