Animal Farm
Beginning of the Rebellion
What does rebellion mean? Rebellion is an act or a show of defiance toward an authority or a convention.
In the novel Animal Farm it talks a lot about the rebellion on humans. It came about when one of the animals name old major had had a strange dream on the previous night and wished to communicate it to the other animals. At the meeting all the animals came to join together to hear what old major had to say, which he started off the meeting talking about how they are being treated by the humans. Old major feels that they are slaves to the humans and he wanted it to end.
So he begins to tell them about how good of a life they well have if all the humans was gone. He suggests that they should have a rebellion against the humans and they loved the ideal. So at the end of the meeting he taught them the words of the “Beast of England” and they song the song proudly, but three nights later old major died peacefully in his sleep before the rebellion even began.
That’s when the animals had to become brave and takes other, so the leaders became Snowball, Napoleon, and Squealer. They were the pigs of the farm that seems to be the smartest of them all. So the animals listen to them and before you know it the war was on. They called their government the Animalism and before you know it they chased the Mr. Jones out of the farm right alone with his men.
They successfully passed their task and now they were free from humans. They began to come up with their rules, which were their seven commandments. And the next thing you know Snowball and Napoleon sent out flights of pigeons to deliver the massage to the other animals around the world. All the other animals responds to the rebellion of humans and the battle of the Cowshed was on. The humans were wining at first, but the animal wasn’t going to give up and by the end of the war they won.
So now the animals got what they ever wanted and that was to win the rebellion over the humans, but now it seems is that they are doing more work and eating less. The rebellion over the humans was done, but now they are living worse then they had ever live. All the animals are now working, but the team work is getting a little tense. The pigs are not treating the animals equal. The pigs want everything to themselves and the animals are falling apart. It’s like they are now having a rebellion on each other. Mollie left them for the humans. Snowball and Napoleon are always in debate and Napoleon has chased Snowball away with his dogs.
Boxer is dead now because he was the only cow trying to finish the windmill. So basically they are out of control and the rebellion was a bad idea after all. The animals were a failure to each other and it lead to a sad ending there were no Animal Farm no longer. The rebellion was a sad one on both the human in the animals.
