“Lost Love”

Once there was this girl I knew named Alice. She was 18 years old and her boyfriend Patrick was 25 years old. They were very much in love with one another; at least that's what Alice thought. Alice was the type of girl who would do all sorts of things to get Patrick to notice her, but nothing seemed to bring his attention to her. Alice would call Patrick's phone and he wouldn't even answer. Alice had been going through this for some time and thought that maybe Patrick would one day change. I guess things just didn't go the way Alice had expected them to go. Alice was not going to let Patrick slip away from her, they had been through a lot together and Alice didn't want to give up for him.
One day Patrick finally called Alice and they got a chance to talk to one another. Alice told Patrick how she felt. He later came over her house and they begin to make up and one thing led to another. Alice begins to hope that Patrick wasn't just using for sex because she felt that she had more to offer. After that day Alice had not seen Patrick for weeks or even months.
One day Alice begins to get very sick, so she went to the doctor. The doctor gave her a pregnancy test and she later found out she was pregnant. She was so upset because she would have to care for her child alone.
