It's very difficult to get into college for young black males. The standards are set so high. Now they want you to score a 19 or higher on the ACT to get into a descent school. That makes it real difficult because most people don't test well, but are excellent students, and some students might have scored high on the ACT but are bad students. I don't think colleges should base their admissions off the Act because they might be missing out on a good student.
