                               Should They Legalize Marijuana Bell Ringer

            I think that America should legalize Marijuana. I feel like if we sell and smoke cigarettes to people (And Cigarettes Are the Leading Cause in Cases of Cancer) we should also be able to sell and smoke marijuana. Look at how cigarettes destroy their bodies with cigarettes but yet our government has not banned them, all because of people's right. I feel like if a person wants to destroy their lives with marijuana let them do so it's the people's choice right? The only reason marijuana isn't legalized is because the government can't make money off of It let alone get taxes from It. I'm not saying that marijuana is good but then again cigarettes aren't either.

Yesterday was the best date in my eight month relationship. He had thrown a party for his father at Pearl's Place. We had the most fun together. I felt as if I was first lady to the dream husband. He was the gentleman I always knew he could be. After that last night I know I can stay with that young man. Yea, he has flaws. Things that I cant stand about him, but he cares and that's something he doesn't show to people often. Then we had our first slow dance with his parents. We took pictures and lit trick candles together. Everything wasn't perfect, but with his flaws and all he is the ideal boyfriend and that was my ideal date.

I like the book because when he went to jail his friend ran off with his money and weed. The part i like when the light bulb fell in his ass hole. When he had to wait for two years to talk to a judge again.

When I opened up the package what i found inside of it amazed me.
It was nothing but crisp hundred dollar bills,at first i wondered what could I spend it on
then before I knew it i had a bran dnew car ,golgd chains, earings,watches,and owned a block full of buisnesses.Not to mention my 30 million dollar crib.

Growing up as child in Chicago is an interesting adventure. You will go through good and bad times. You will also have to make a lot of tough decisions that will effect your future. I say that because I live in a bad neighborhood where a person wouldn't take no time to take your life from you. The interesting thing is how we have a lot of interesting activities that we can get into. We have skatin rinks, bowling, sport, jobs, driving, amusement parks, and much more. These are the kind of things that keep you out of trouble. There is much more to this adventure but I am tired of writing so thanks for listening.

Growing up as a teen in chicago is very rough. Living in the Englewood area can be tough to many teenagers. There are so many things you can be peer pressured into doing. As soon as teens enter highschool they are on a roller coaster right away. Many families dont feel safe having there childern play outside because of all the gang violence. Being a teen in chicago is basically whether you have to protect yourself and avoid peer pressure. When I say protect your life is when teens are asked to join gangs, so they can feel that they are protected when they are ever in trouble..In conclusion growing up as teen is difficult, but if you live here you have to make the best of it and make smart choices.

Last saturday our basketball team had a game at Englewood high school. It was the first annual shootout there. It was a lot of teams playing there. We played against Dyett High school. We lost by three points. We played good throughout the whole game. It came down to the last shot of the game. We gave the ball to Leslie for the three he missed the shot. I think we played a very good game. we should have won the game.

What is it like growing up as a teen in Chicago?


I believe growing up as a teen in Chicago is pretty interesting and exciting at the same time. I enjoy it here. It's a nice city full of stores, parks, museums, and famous main attractions. The majority of my family lives here so I feel I'm at home. It's a place where teens could have more opportunities and dreams. It's challenging at times as well. It has had a huge impact on my life. I came from a small town in Arkansas to one of the biggest cities in the U.S. It was an interesting new experience for me prior to a lot of differences. I found myself having to adapt to a new and bigger environment which is good. I feel that I've gotten the best of both worlds. So now I feel inspired to grow up in the beautiful city of Chicago.

What do you think the future is going to be like for blacks in america in the next 10 years? No matter about 10 years from now the crime rate will still be sky high and alot of people going to die do to the state trying to move all the blacks into the suburbs so they would try and rebuild whats left of the city for thats why morgages going up and prices on new houses are already up. I also believe the rate of kids getting pregnant at a young age going to hit a all time high.

If I was stranded on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean for ten years their are a couple of things that I would bring. One of the things is a bible, I fill that in ten years I could read the whole bible a couple of times. I would bring a HD TV, a dvd, and a movie. The movie that I would bring is Friday, because I could watch that movie everyday. The cd that I would bring is Get Rich Or Die Trying, because it's my favorite cd and I could play it though and listen to every track. The ffood that I would bring is pizza, because it's my favorite food. The drink that I would bring is some flavor water, because you need water to survive, and because it taste good. The piece of clothing that I would wear is some short and a tank top. And another Item that I would bring is a computer. Because it will also keep me occupied, and I could talk to my family through email.

With my christmas vacation i plan on enjoying my time with my family and giving gifts to everyone that I love, staying at home until the weather is nice enough to go outside again, just simply enjoy my 2 week vacation!

I believe that everything happens for a reason, but falling in love at first sight is not one of them. It has never happened to me but it has happened to others. I can look at someone and say that I like them alot but I cannot say I love them. Love at first sight can happen but not to most. I do believe that it can happen to others but notto me. This weekend was a wild weekend first i was at school Friday then got high with certain people in the school but I'm not going to say any names. Then one of my girls called me and said she had the crib to herself and I went right overthere and did somethings and left. Then I went on the block and got real drunk and we was out fighting everybody because we was gone out of our minds. Saturday I went to the girls basketball games and they both won then later on that night i got locked up for some supid stuff, got out Sunday real late in the day and now I'm here at school Monday.

To me there are alot more things important to me than money, like my families life and my life. I say that because money is money if I get a call and they say you just won $1 million come outside and then right after i hung up i got another call that said something bad jsut happened to my mother I would say to hell with the $1 million I wouldn't care if it was a once in a lifetime type deal I would have to go check on my mom first to see if she was okay, then comes the money. The other thing that is more important to me is my life because if I were to win $1 million today and died tomorrow how will I be able to spend all of my money and enjoy every last bit of it. I wouldn't be able to do none of that stuff. WHY? Because I am six feet under in somebody's cemetary. These are the reasons why money is not everything to me.

Growing up as a teen in chicago is very difficult. It is difficult, because you have to go threw things like peer pressure on sex for females, drug abuse and gang violence. Its hard trying to be yourself, because you have friends that want you, to do the things they do. For most teens they have been pressured into gangs, and for female teens they have been pressures into sex.Teens always try to be like rapstars which leads into gangs, and pregnant females teens. Female teens have it harder than male teens, beacuse males pressure them into sex. Males have it hard to, beacuse they have friends that want them to join gangs, and not go to school. I believe the reason why most tens doesnt go to school is, because they have friends that want them t hang out on the street corner with them. Most teens that are in jail is, because their friends that wanted them to do something that didnt want to do like robbery. Its a lot of things that you have to go threw growing up as a teen.

What life is like growing up as a teen in Chicago? You have to watch every move you make and do not take life for granted because you do not know it might be your last day on earth. Chicago is a very ruff place to be growing up in. You have kids getting killed almost each and everyday and not only those grown people too. A lot of people have been getting raped. Therefore, its important not to walk the streets along, its better if you walk with someone at all times. Everyday when watching the news a lot of new and bad things happen everyday. I don't think that love is at first sight thats in possible. I don't think that two people can look at each other and fall instantly in love. And just knowing that they are meant for each other without even knowing them. I believe that is crazy that you look at someone and say i'm gone love that person.Then later on in the relationship that person will turn out crazy. But in the end you thought that person was the one for you because thought it was love. This has not happened to me before and never will. I don't believe in love at first sight thats for people who jump into relationships too fast. I feel that love at first sught is for movies and books.

    I remember the first day I came to Harper High. I was nervous a little because I didn't know anyone at this school. When I got there I notice that everybody was wearing uniforms and at my old high school we didn't we any uniforms. I went to see my councilor to get my scheduler for my classes. My councilor showed me my scheduler and she told me the A and B day system. When I went to my first class everyone looked at me because they knew I was the new girl. I met some people in my classes and they were telling me some things about Harper. A couple of weeks later I went to the pep rally to see how Harper performs and I enjoyed myself. I seen there marching band and the cheerleaders dancing and do there cheers for us!

Ashley decided to call the radio station(WGCI) to win free tickets to see Chris Brown. When the station said to be the 12Th caller, she began to start calling. At first the phone line were buzzy. Then she called again and again. She called 6 more times and once she gotten through the other line said "hello, you are the 12TH caller. Immediatly she started to scream and almost cried. After the station took down her information down. She went over her friend house and told her.
Jackie(her friend) was surprised and happy the she won the tickets to see Chris Brown.
Jackie has unstable legs, so she can't walk on her own two feets. After they were both screaming and yelling about winning the tickets, Jackie said "I wish I could go see Chris Brown if only I weren't disable." Asley thought about how Jackie loves Chris Brown and she wanted her to come. Even though Jackie was disable she actually had a chance to see her favorite artist.

One day there was a boy named Tony who loved to hang with his parents. Tony's parents were very busy with work and other activities they were in. So, one Tony sat down with his parents talking to them about how they should hang out more but, Tony's parents was saying that they couldnt because they were too busy and Tony told them that he wasnt going to be around all the time and that they're going to miss him when he's gone and when he said that his parents felt that they disappointed him. So, the next day Tony's parents planned a trip to Chicago for the three of them and they packed they're clothes and everything. So, they went to Tony's room to wake him up and they realized that Tony wasnt breathing and they instantly started crying and they started thinking about what Tony said the other day about how he wasnt going to be around all the time.

Hey, mom can I go outside? No, said the mother, I told you, you can not go outside because you are on punishment! You will be able to go out in two more weeks, now go to your room or something. I’m getting tired of sitting in this house with nothing to do, the boy said talking to his friend over the phone. I think I just might sneak out later on. Do you think that is a good idea said the boy’s friend? I don’t care; I do whatever I feel like doing and I feel like sneaking out.
His mom never knew that her son was gone until she was watching the 10:00 news and came to see her son on television. Her son was gun down do to gang violence. Police say that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The moral of the story is that you should do what you are told or you will end up in greater or worse trouble.

A year later, he gets drafted to the NFL, but is released by team. Still trying to fulfill his dream playing professional football, he travels to Canada to play for the CFL, where he makes the team roster, but is waived due to injuries. With no money and no job, he travels back to the U.S., where he becomes a professional wrestler.
For the past six years, he becomes one of the greatest athletes of all-time and a well-known entertainer. He would later retire and pursue an acting career. Fans of the wrestling industry may call him a sell-out for leaving so soon, but it doesn't matter because this journey was the mark of the Great One.

Their once was a boy that did not know what he wanted to do for his future. So as he was thinking ,thw devil's high servent came in dissky's himself as a angel, He appeared on the boy left side, and he said if you come with me, you will be rich and have everything you want, all you have to do is give your soul to me . Then a real angel appeared on the boy right side and the angel said, you can't let no one buy your heart with objects and money, it will will not last as long as thr love for your family and your friends.
The servent said, do you want a future that is promised to you or you want to continue to live a buring life , all you have to do is give me your soul. The angel said once you give himyour soul, their is no going back. The angel said I have one more thing to say to you, you should worry about the little thing's that matter most to you, God put you on this earth to see what you can do on your own out of life.
He did not put you on this earth to sell your soul, once your soul is gone, its gone for good. So whats going to be your desicion. Their once lived a young man who had everything he ever wanted. His parents were very wealthy. Anything he asked for he received. The young man was very greedy and selfish though, especially towards his friends and family. His selfishness was to the point that his family didn't speak to him any more and all of his friends befriended him. he didn't care as long as he had all the material things he wanted. Even all the things he received weren't enough for him, he always wanted for more. So much more that he didn't even have use for most of the things he had. When he grew older he felt since he had gotten all he wanted when he was younger that at an older age he would still get token care of. "My parents will take care of me for the rest of my life" those were his words. His parents did that very thing. Then one day their was a huge storm God washed away everything they owned. The money and all the material things they had were gone just like that. The parents were so broke they had to move into a shelter but the son refused. The son refused to move into a shelter he felt he was to good. He said he would go live with a family member or one of his friends. What he had forgotten was that he had ran everyone away with his selfishness and greediness. When he approached them everyone turned him away because of the he had treated them. The son had no where else to go accept to a shelter with his parents. Still he refused because his ego was too huge. Right now to this day the son is living on the streets, sleeping from park bench to park bench with no where to go. No he wonders if maybe he was a little more sharing he would have a place to stay.

“Be Careful What You Wish For“

This is a story about a man who seems to think everybody is after him. So he’s walking down the street and an old woman asks him for help. But him being so paranoid he thinks it’s a game. So he curses the lady out then after he walks off us wishes everybody would stop playing with his emotions and just die. So he brushes it off and keeps on walking down the street he then spots this hot Puerto Rican chick. So he try’s to talk to her but she is not going so their talking but she shots him down every time he try’s get in closer. Then she treats him and says you’re not my type you are just too funny looking. After she finishes treating him he say’s to the girl “You ugly anyway I just wanted to brighten your day”. And then he says it once again I wish people would just die and leave me alone. So later that day this guy got a call from his mother and she said “how you doing son” He responded “I’m not doing so great mom everybody is out to get me and I don’t know why” She Says “everybody doesn’t want you boy you are just paranoid” He says “No I’m not I wish everybody would just die” She Said “Don’t say that about anyone didn’t I raise you better then that” So after their brief conversation she hung up and he thought to himself about what his mother just told him. Later that day a homeless man came to his house asking for some change to eat that night. But as usual the man was still in no mood to play with anybody or for that matter help anyone but his self. So he cursed the man out and beat him with in an inch of his life. So after he got out of jail he got a call from his brother and he told him that their mother just dropped dead in the middle of the house and he thought to his self I killed her. “Me being so mean to everyone and wishing they would die I killed my mother” So he told his self the moral of this story is be careful what you wish for it just might happen

Once there was a gifted young rapper named Quint. And He had a friend named rich. They were the best of friends. Better yet they were like brothers. They did music together all there life. And they made a promise to each other to never left fame change them. Well one day they performed at a talent show. After the show they were stopped by a huge record producer.
He told them he liked what he heard and he wanted to sign them. Well months went by and they did concerts and shows all over. and the money begin to pour in from the boxoffice. Eventually more and more Rich started to see a change in Quint. Quint started to get side tracked by material things. Until one day Rich tryed to bring it up and address it. But Quint told rich to quit complaining. Rich then looked him straight in the eyes . Then said to him I'll return when you return. And he left out the door.

Once upon of time there was a boy named Ricky Jackson, and he lived in Chicago Illinois. Ricky treated everyone badly, he always talked about people, and laughed at people. The main person who he always treated bad was a boy named Larry. Ricky always talked about Larry's house, his clothes, and his shoes. He even made Larry cry a couple of times in front of of everyone. One day Ricky lost his bus card and was stranded, then he saw Larry and he had 5 bus cards, but Ricky didn't want to ask Larry for a bus card, because he knew that he have always treated him wrong, but Larry noticed that Ricky was stranded so he just walked up to Ricky and handed him a bus card, and got on the bus. When they got on the bus Ricky walked up to Larry and apologized for everything that he had done, and Larry accepted his apology. Every since that day they have been friends. The morale of this story is treat everyone the way that you would like to be treated.

One day there was a turtle and a rabbit walking and talking and the rabbit told the turtle that he was walking to slow. The turtle said slow and steedy always wins the race. The rabbit told the turtle he will never win a race going that slow so they rabbit said he will bet the turtle whole family in a race at once an the turtle took the bet. so the turtle called his family an told them about the deal. they had to run ten laps around the park.

Lies, lies, lies

This parable is about a man by the name of Tommy, see Tommy was one of those who did stuff the sneaky way. He would lie about things just to get what he wanted. For example one day he lied to his boss about why he didn’t come to work instead of him using one of his sick days he typed up a false doctor statement saying that he has and emergency heart attack.
Then he lied to his sister about being short on his car note because he had to pay the electric bill or something, so she would give in and pay his note for the month. He knew that these were the greatest skims but the worst thing Tommy could ever do is lie to his mother just because he was money hungry. On a Sunday morning he took a visit to her house and made up a quick lie about how he was going to get put out because he didn’t have $600.00 to pay his rent. Being his mother she gave in and paid it plus the late fee he claimed to have had, little did Tommy realized that he was about to get the most unspoken surprise of his life.
That Monday Tommy went to work with at least $1200.00 in his pocket; this was the money he had gotten from his mom and sister. While Tommy made a quick run to the bank his boss took a look over his doctors statement and realized that the number in the slip didn’t match the hospital he had called this was a felony that had been committed and he immediately called the police, about 15 minutes later he returned from his bank run and found 3 officers standing desk with their handcuffs ready to take him in, next his sister got a call from the car dealer who claimed that he owed $1500.00 on unpaid tickets, then she realized that he lied about the car it had been taken.
Finally his mom took a visit to his house just to see if he had been put out as see was about to enter she ran into his landlord who said that Tommy hasn’t been there in the last past 6 months. They all took a visit to Tommy’s cell where he wasn’t able to leave because his bond was outstanding plus he had to attend court to face false charging dealing with the hospital, Now he lost his job and both his mother and sister’s trust.

The moral of this parable is to never tell lies that you know aren’t necessary to tell because one day they are going to catch up with you and get you in lots of trouble.

A lesson is something that you will always learn. To begin with, I rememner when I was ten years old. My mother was cooking dinner for a party she was hosting.
I always wonder where the fire came from on the oven, so when I asked my mother, where did those flames come from she said that it's a gas oven, so when you turn the eye of the oven something moves together which creates a flame. Iwas very much curious, so I turned on the oven, and touched the fire where I received a badly burned hand.Ever since then I learned never to touch anything that you don't know about, because there will be consequence in the end.

yesterday i had a very good day because i luv science and i love to find the truth out about things n were it first started i really like the robot section of the trip n i really like the butterfily section 2 i had alot of fun n i would love 2 do it again.

Yesterday, our school went to the nature museum to look at the exhibit about robots it was a lot of fun because we actually went on a field trip that wasn't boring and we weren't in the classrooms. Then we wnet to go and see the butterflies, it was awesome. But as for the robot, I
was saying before we went on the field trip I felt that it was boring, I mean all we were doing was programing the dog-gone robots that was it. But now that we have went on the field trip and was enteractive with different things about the robots, it's not so bad after all. Yesterday we went on a trip and I enjoyed myself. I learned alot of things that I didn't know. I learned more about robots and other interesting things that I looked at. I seen alot of new creatures. I played a game with a robot. The challenge was to beat the robot putting pieces into a form before the robot. Next we went into this butterfly room and they were everywhere. At first I was slightly scared because I don't like bugs at all but I just kept thinking to myself that they are harmless and won't do anything to me. So I got comfortable around them and now when I see them outside I won't swat them away.

Today was a entharalling day. Someone unplug my robot today and thats the secon time that happend. Lucky Ms. Kickert let me use her robot and we still won the challenges in the classroom.

Today i competed against all of the groups n m clas and won over everyone well it was an tie against another robot and mine.It was alot of fun today was kinda exciting.

Today I actually had fun today in robotics class because I programed the robot all by myself and that was something that I thought would never ever be able to accomplish and I'm truly proud of myself for that. On top of that, my partner of the EV Dynasty, Elisha was not feeling well today butIi had her back on programming Nebula, so even though she's not here I'm still glad that I was able to do something myself instead of depending on her to do most of the work for me. Today was a great day. I had fun. My partner and I was working on getting the robot to complete the obstacle course. However, it completed it by about 30% and stop but thats where we left off at.


I think this program is congenial. Sometimes it can get boring but most of the time it is congenial.

i like doing the robot but i hate it when we have to write about robots.

Today we had to do another challenge and I still ahd a feeling that we wouldn't make it and we did't. But other than that lisa is still a lame.
The program is ok because of the robots but the work is nerve wrecking.

I think that crouse was okay we did make it pass a little bit but next day is going to get better. But the program is great.

So far this program is ok the robotic part get a little complicated at times but its ok. At
work the kids are ok but some also play to much

this program 2 me is kinda borin because wat girl wants 2 learn about robots .besides the robots the after school program is good it just takes a while 2 get there other than that the program is good but they need 2 let us bring in snacks cause we be hungry

Well we made it kinda far through the obstical course today we earned 3 points.But what i think about this program it's cool i enjoy myself sometimes,what i think what to be inproved is the lunch hour, we only have like 10-15 min. that's not enough to eat. Speaking of eating why don't you provide lunch for those who don't eat or don't have any money.

Today we testeed our robots in the gym. My group we tried but that robot kept getting on our last nerves it wouldnt work for nothing in this world. I like the program and everything but the robots can be a little bit irritating and can make you want to pull your hair out. I just think that it is a challenge and maybe hopefully the robot will work one day. So after trying to program the robot I just calmed myself down and relaxed and watched my Chris Brown videos and I was all good.

Today we had another compition. We did not do to good this time we were playing around. I dont like doing work like were in school but I do like building on the robot and programing it to work.

today was a bunch of mess it was so boring and i wish we could do things that are more fun and exiting. this program is very dumb and it seems like it has no meaning at all. i really don't want to continue with this so i wish we could do something else fun for us.

what I did today was have a competiton with then the classes of ares. before that we did that we had time to program are robots to go around there but my robot didnt make it to the end. the program is nice n its fun to do and i wouldnt mind doing it nice year.

i think this program is ok.sometimes it gets boring.the teachers always tell me i have a negitive attitude,but that is not the case.it probably is fun for someone who likes to build and create things.things that can be diffrent about this program is that this program should offer a varity of activities for students to choose from not just robotics.it should be something that will better us as people,such as academics,career paths and other things that builds your character in the long run.

Today in robotics class we put some more programs on our robots. Then we went over our quizes. Afterwards, we started on our revised outlines for our research papers. Now were on the computers bloging for Mr. Winfrey. Lastly, were about to go home.

i think the spelbots were cool and the way that the team was set up it was just cool and i think Harperhigh should have one because its fun when u buy into it for the most part AD BREWER.

I think That the spelbots are good in what there doing we need some africa america in this experice.

Today in harper I did a class project on spelbots. I think we should have a team to help better stubent in group activites about robots in school.

spelbots are robots created by spelman students. of course spelman students are all females, so they were created by all females. i wouldnt want one at harper because it wouldnt last/

In Robotics class today we read an article about the Spelbots at Spelman College and from reading it I learned about the championships they've won and how their robots promote artificial intelligence and research. Also Spelman College is the only black college in the country to be included on the U.S. News and World Reports list of the top 75 Best Liberal Arts Colleges.
