I like freewritting because it helps me express how I feel through writing. I also like doing poetry because it's just something that I also like doing to make people smile and feel a certain way. I am talented at writing poetry and have always been. I wrote poems for my aunt and uncle funeral. I also entered into a poetry contest and won. Not only did I win but my poem is now in the semi-finalist competion and is scheduled to be published this month. I am very proud of myself and I know that others are to. Before I entered my poem into the contest my mother told me to be calm and don't worry about anything because she knew I was going to win. I believed in myself and did it.
