I think that most people view both boys and girls as peopel that still depend on their parents. Also peopel that sometimes do'nt know any better. A man and a women are viewed as peopel that don't have to depend on anyone for anything. Age also plays a big part in it as well. Because you are consider grown at the age of 18, wheres anyone under this age of 18 are consider young.
