Never Made It Leshawn Ward


It all started with these three boys who stayed on the same block. They grew up together, and they always hanged out together. They would always get in trouble together. So if one of them got a girl, the other two would talk to her friends. They all stayed with there mother and father, and plus they did well in school. They at least got a “B” or better on there report card. They were the most popular people in there high school. The reason why they were so popular is because two of them were the stars of the basketball team, and one of them was the star on the football team. S.Q. Pimp and 40 Cal played basketball, and 50 played football. S.Q. Pimp and 40 Cal were all state players; they played in the Mc Donald all star game. 50 was an All American football star. So all three of them received scholarship’s to play at any school they wanted. It all started to go wrong on March 17, 2003. After winning the state championship 79-78, S.Q. had 32 points and 40 had 40 points. While, 50 was in the stance with a groupie. So after the game they wanted to go out and celebrity. So they decide to go to this high school party. 50 asked his lil groupie did she have some friends, and she said they are already here. She called her two friends over, so 40 and S.Q. started to talk to them. After a minute or two, they got to know each other. Than 40 was like lets leave and go to the party, but they said no. So 40, 50, and S.Q. decide to leave them there, and go to the party. As they entered the party they spotted these three model looking chicks they never seen in school before. So 40 called 50 over and said go put us on, but 50 said no. S.Q. said I would do it. So S.Q. walked up to one of the girls and said can I have a dance, she said yeah. As they were dancing, 40 and 50 made they move on the other two. But they didn’t know this girls were little high and drunk. As they got to know the girls, it started to get late. The three of them planned on taken a girl to the hotel to celebrity. As the night got late, they asked the girls would they want to go to a hotel, and they said yes. They got to the hotel, and decide to rent they own rooms. So a couple of hours went pass, it was 12:15am. They planed on meeting down stairs at 12:30am but 50 was late, he took a little bit longer. They headed back to the hood, and dropped the girls off at home. 50 phone started to ring, it was one of they guys. He needed them to come and drop him off at this spot. As they picked him up, they didn’t know somebody just got shot and killed around that area. So they was driven down the street to drop they friend off, and the police pulled them over. The police made ever one get out the car to search them, but 50 said we don’t have anything. As the police searched the car, they found a gun. It was the same gun that was used to kill someone earlier. So they all got locked up for murder and sentenced to 15 years in jail. The three all star’s scholarships were taken away. Now there on the block everyday selling drugs, gangbanging, and getting locked up.
