why parents misunderstand their teenaged children

Many parents misunderstand their children because they believe they know everything because they went through it in life. They believe their life back in the day is kind of the same as our days now. Like they know how we feel and why we feel that way. If we get bad grades they think, they know why. For example, they will say the reason why you are getting bad grades is your friends, you and your friends talk too much or you do not study. I was the same way when I was your age. However, when you do study and do not talk to your friends they believe they know everything that goes on in our life. My myth is explaining my topic because when parents believe they know everything it makes them misunderstand how and what we go through can be different than what they went through back in their days. Many parents say that we should go to them for anything because they seem like they know all of the answers to our questions. They misunderstand us when we ask them for help like with problems that we go through outside of school and inside school, because they were a child before. They need to remember that many things have changed from their time to now. Therefore, it is hard for parents to know how we feel and what we go through. They may think they know but really do not know anything that is going on. Another example is my mom believes that she knows everything that my sister goes through because she had struggles around her age. My mom do knows some of the things that I go through but not all my reasons. I might I have different reasons why I do not study then their reasons. On the other hand, I might have different thoughts then theirs. Therefore, they can misunderstand us in so many ways.

to my sister

To my sister

I’m blessed to call you sister, I also call you friend you’ve love me unconditionally and stood through thick and thin
You shared my joys and sorrows my laughter and my tears. You’ve been my inspiration, as we grew up through the years.
When we were little children we laughed and played together then growing up you stood by me, there’s something god has given us, that’s more than family he’s placed a love for you, my sister deep down in the heart of me

felt inside

Felt inside

Have you ever wanted to talk but never really dared?
Or missed that opportunity to tell them that you cared?
Pretended that it doesn’t hurt, and said that it’s ok?
And, spent each day wishing it’d all just go away?
Acted how you’re supposed to so no one knew you cried
And never let them see how you really felt inside
