The love god

The kind of god that Hurston’s characters are watching is a love god. Janie was with 3 men because she was trying to find love; Janie was watching the love god and she began to question because of the outcome of her relationships. Janie’s first relationship didn’t work out because she was forced to marry Logan Killicks because of the money and land he had, not out of love. Janie hoped and believed that sooner or later she would fall in love with Logan but it didn’t happen. Once Janie was no longer forced to be with Logan after her grandma died, she left Logan and never turned back. Janie’s next husband was named Joe Starks and Janie thought she had found the right man, but eventually Joe began change and act differently towards her, breaking his promise to treat her good and with respect. Joe unfortunately dies from a kidney failure, so Janie was left on her own to search for love again. One day a man named Teacake came along Janie’s path and they had an instant attraction. Teacake amused Janie all the time, he taught her how to play checkers, and they just enjoyed spending time with each other. Janie and Teacake eventually married, moved to a different town, and they went through a lot of things while they were together. Teacake became sick from rabies so he died and Janie went back to her old town. Janie had experienced many different things being with each man, but being with Teacake had shown her real love, So Janie didn’t have to look for love anymore. The god of love had taken Janie through many obstacles and Janie began to wonder if love was ever for her because they were in all the wrong places, but the love god was kind to bring her Teacake. Janie and Teacake didn’t have a lot of time to be with each other because of his death but Jane was still happy.

Why do we have to do homework?

There was once a girl named Amy who one day asked grandfather why did she have to do homework? Amy explained to her grandfather that she didn’t like doing it because it was a waste of time and it took away time from her watching her cartoons. The grandfather said “Amy what do you want to be when you get older?” Amy answered “a princess”, well let me tell you a story the grandfather said. There was once a little girl who always wanted to be a princess when she grew up, she wanted to live a fairy tale life with a handsome prince in a divine castle. Her mom and dad always told her if she wanted to be a beautiful princess she would have to do well in school and always do her homework. Day by day went and the girl still didn’t want to do any homework, so one night the girl had a dream. The girl dreamt that she was the most beautiful goddess ever and she bragged how she became good looking without doing homework. So one day a witch cast a spell on the girl and with a bolt of lightning the girl’s face became ugly and she wailed over and over how she should have listened to her parents and did her homework. “Amy, Amy wake up” her mom said “your having a bad dream”. Amy woke up, she was crying hysterically with sweat covering her whole body. “ Mommy, daddy “ the girl said, I’m going to do my homework everyday now because I learned that it is very important do well in school so I can become a smart princess”. So from that day on the girl did ever homework assignments she had and later on she became a beautiful princess and lived with her prince in their divine castle. “So Amy do you see why doing your homework is important”? “ Yes grandpa I do, so now I’m going to do my homework everyday so I can become a smart princess and live with a prince in a divine castle, just lie that girl did.

Stuff im going to do

Yesterday after school i went to mcdonalds and got me a mcchicken and a sweet tea. Then after that i went to my old job to see if they were hiring again so i could work there again. Today after school im going out to eat with my family for my cousins birthday. we plan going to chili's and i plan on eating some ribs.

my freestyle

Since school started i have been very tired and exhausted. This week school has been vey good because i seen all my friends and know where my classes are. I hope to do good in all my classes because im going to try my hardest and my best to get good grades and get a grade point average as high as a 3.0. Im so glad we get out early every fridays cause i can go home and watch tv, eat, and go to sleep. Tommorrow i wanna go to the movies and go see the movie soroity row cause it looks scary and i love scary movies. This year i want to succeed and get the right grades and become a junior and then a senior so after that i can go to college because i want to become a nurse or a medical biller. When i get out of school i want to get some mcdonalds cuz im hungry, i may get a mcchicken and a sprite. After school around 4 i got to go watch my cousin then im gonna go home. I hope we still get paid for our grades this year cause i need some money and that will also motivate me to keep my grades up like it did last year because in the beggining my grades was good then towards like end my grades went down a little but before school was over i got them back up.
