Interview with a Wicca

Rafeeq Burton
Christa Lonnes

Rafeeq Burton: “How did you get involve in the craft of Wicca?”
“What was your first spell you cast?”
“Do you have or belong to a coven?”
“What is your area of expertise?”
“Are you open about your powers?”
“Have you ever used Wicca in an act of revenge?’
“Do you plan on teaching your children about Wicca?”

Christa Lonnes: “Actually my mom’s sides for about four generations were practitioners of Wicca... so you could say I inherited it.
My first spell was actually a sleep endusing spell. I couldn’t get to sleep and it was a few weeks after my mom told me about the whole Wicca things, and so I tried an incantation from her book.
I do belong to a coven, as all real Wicca’s should. Magic and spells are more powerful and more helpful if done in folds of two or greater.
If by expertise you mean my area of my magic? I am really good at dream spells and dream enhancing potions, like my great grandmother Dolores Lonnes she was looked at in her village as the dream sorcerer, so maybe that’s me as well.
Not as much as you are. I am a tad bit unsure of how people will take it and I don’t have as much attitude and self confidence as you does freakee (smiley face)
Not now… hopefully not ever I believe man already has enough power to use at their disposal, their better off thinking we’re nut jobs and cheap magicians then to use our power in ware fares
Honestly I have thought about that question and I don’t want to. Although I love being a witch I felt like a part of my life was taken from me and already written off a part I couldn’t control, something, (I didn’t necessarily have to do, but something I at least I had to try, I owed my mother and her mother that much.) I wan to let my kids grow up and reach an age to see if their open to the idea and have this apart of them and accept the responsibilities of being a Wicca

The Hunter 2: And the Master plan

Chapter one:End of year

The night was quite and seldom in the town of salem Massachuttes, families in thier homes talking around dinner tabels, kids doing homeowrk and some just hanging out. Oh how Trevor missed that relaxing feeling. Trevor was walking alone under the street lights in pajama pants and puma shoes a leather jacket to keep him warm. An emrald pendant haning from his neck, dangiling, rocking from side to side as he walked. A stake in one of his sleeves, a tiny leather bond taty tarnaged book in the other. Trevor managed to let his recently short blonde hair to grow taty and long, his white skin flourshing in the florscent light on the moon. Trevor walked into a graveyard and wonderd around for a little seemingly looking for something. Trevor made his way to a stone that just said R.I.P "guess he didn't have family" Trevor mutterd to himself. The moon in the sky was full and still, illuminating in the night sky. Trevor began to talk to the gravestone. "you know, that that moon, the one right there in the sky, has a purpose. It's hear to keep this world from turning into turmoil, same as me, without me the whole world would be in choas", Trevor said to to the gravestone. Then the paved ground began to quake and shake, and Trevor jumped off the stone onto the ground in fight ready stnace. A pale hand extended from the dirt as if the hand was gasping for air another hand soon later appeared and began to pull hisself up and a minute later a body poped out of the dirt and snarled at Trevor. Trevor then.... To be continued

Object that represents me

One object that describes me the most would be the books that I write. They show my creativity and wide mindedness and my control that I have over my imagination. It shows that I can focus my mind and thoughts into creative books that might actually go somewhere someday. It shows that I’m witty a smart witty and decisive. It also shows my inner most dreams and wishes and elongated imagination.

Clever Title

Today I’m excited that Mileyissa is coming out from Denver this weekend. I haven’t seen her in like a year and a life is sooo boring without her. We had so much fun just hanging out in the Forest park walking around the different stores like we’re gonna by stuff. I miss her and I’m pretty sure she missed me. So much has happened in the last year ive changed and she has really changed. But I hope we’ haven’t changed too much to where we grow apart and be all awkward. Timiro is making me mad too she didn’t give me a mp3

Thier eyes were watching god

In the story; their eyes were watching god, a woman named Janie, faces difficult challenges. With her being classified as a higher class of black but living in a lower class of black community, Janie’s life was ragged and confusing. She was never really appreciated for most of her accomplishments and was looked down upon by kids. As she grew older she became an easy target by cupid meaning; that she fell in love easy and got hurt even easier. Her first love was man named Tea cake, although more than a decade younger than her, his thirst for adventure sparked something in her and wanted her to live as he did. Jody was here second love and husband, his lust for money, power and better life is what attracted her to this man and lead to major events in her life. Logan, Janie’s first and worst love, being forced to the old and sexist man door matted Janie’s ambitious curiosity. The whole story consist of three Major elements, Love, Power and adventure, all these components is what made this book such a success and made it a idol to read and want to own in it’s day. The book sparked a thought in peoples mind that there was more to being a person of color than most had thought.

Compaer and Contrast (Merchant & Knight)

The whole theme of the Canterbury tales is intriguing. The theme mostly consist of betrayal, deceit and hatred towards one another. But in particular to the story, the Merchant and miller focus on love and how it can make thy blind, both literally and figuratively. The Merchant tells a tale of an old knight from Lombardy who had'nt been married yet. But when the knight had turned sixty, he decided to finally be married. He searched for wives, now convinced that being married was a paradise . Yet his brother, advised of the scholar Theophrastus, who advised men never to wed, for servants show more diligence and do not claim nearly as much. To this the knight retorted with Biblical stories that state a man without a wife is bent on ruin. These stories cites the creation of Eve for Adam as proof that a wife is man's support, as well as examples of humble and devoted wives. January, wished to have a young wife of no older than thirty, for a young wife would be more pliable, but Placebo warned him that it takes great courage for such an aged man to take a young wife. He warned him of the misery that can come from taking a wife, for she could be shrewish or a drunkard, facts that a husband will not learn until well into the marriage. Despite the common opinion that Placebo has a wonderful wife, he knows what faults she has. They argue about the merits of marriage, with Placebo predicting that January will not please his wife for more than three years, but Placebo eventually assents to January's plan. January finally decided to take a young and pretty wife, foolishly believing that nobody would find fault with his choice. He spoke to Placebo and his friends about his choice, praising his intended wife. January, however, worries that a man who finds perfect happiness on earth as he would with his wife would never find a similar happiness in heaven, for one must choose between one perfect happiness and another. Justin countered by stating that it is more likely that married men will get to heaven than single men. He muses that marriage might be January's purgatory. Now the Knight,The Knight tells a tale of courtship and chivalry, focused on the deeds of soldiers and princes, the social milieu in which the Knight travels. Even the structure of the tale obeys the structure and hierarchy within society. The Knight does not start with the main characters of the tale, Artimus and Palamon; instead, he begins at the apex of society, describing the exploits of Theseus of Athens, working downward until he reaches the less distinguished Than soldiers. Now the similarities that i find are that, they both thought that love was a grand thing and believed that every man should have a wife, but were later on proven wrong. But the difference is that, The Merchant grew lonesome and hatred toward the idea of love and didn't think being married was worth anytime at all, and that their better off alone.

Jean Grey and Beowulf

Beowulf... A warrior of emensce power and strength, courage and knowledge is feared worshiped and respected. The strongest and fearless of his warriors. Any chance he got, he jumped at it and siezed that challenge. Beowulf was a man with little worries and only a thirst for adventure and quest of knowledge of ways to better himslef. So when he heard of the terrible creature from sailors over seas, he took his men and headed straight for the beast. It took all his men and one by one they fell. But beowulf stood his ground feet and mind planted firmly of only defeating the dragon. It took all his might, courage, strenght and wit to defeat the dragon in which he did keeping the remains of the dragon to show of his might and wit and all to show that any challenges that he and his men may face, that they will overcome all and that no one can stand in his way of his destiny, whatever it may be.

Jean Grey... A mutant with the ability of telepathy and telekenisis(two of my fav powers). Jean an outcast like most mutants has always long to fit in. To have some type of courage and anger that fueld most mutants to be courages enough to learn to get help. Powerful... more powerful than any known creature on the planet and a thirst to prove herself and find that center where she belongs is the real challenge she must face friends and enimies in her quest for power, but her real challenge will be facing herself and that where i say Beowulf and Jean differ. Jean is timid in using her full potential which allows to fall victim to her enimeis, and all though she is strong in body her mind is far more superior which is more reasonable to the bodies reaction if faced with a challenge. Jean and Beowulf are both equal and similar in mind and what they really want, but the way the export those thoughts are far more differnt and those are the similarites and differnces that Jean Grey and Beowulf have.
