Why You SHould Not Fall In lOve
Love is actually Insanity… There is a thin line between love and craziness. When people fall in love it’s highly possible that they are going to break up, and when you lose the person you love. It can be very hard. Some people shut down and some resort to violence. It’s highly possible that you can fall in love, lose that person and it doesn’t have a negative effect on you. So when your young and your in a relationship you need to accept the fact that you guys aren’t going to be together forever. It’s going to end eventually. Why suffer the heartbreak? Why put yourself through that? That’s why it’s better to just save you the sorrow and avoid falling in love. Most children are not mature enough to handle some ones heart or mind, and ? ? young ? both can be very sensitive. Most don’t even know what love is, they just want to claim it to appeal to other people or because they think they know. Everything eventually ends, but why get hurt when you can avoid the pain? The best thing to do is waiting until your old enough to understand life, when you’re really in love that person wont make you feel bad… That’s when you’re in love. Trust me

Lakers Or Celtics....Upcoming season for the titans..
The Lakers are still the best team in the NBA,not only have they kept theyre 2008-2009 championship team,they have upgraded at the small foward postion with the aquisition of Ron Artest. The Celtics are also pretty good with adding Allstar Raheed Wallace and Getting some depth on the bench. But the celtics lost a key player in Leon Powe, and Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett are ageing by the years. With that being said the edge would have to go to the Lakers, Theyre younger, The defending champs, And they have the best player in the game with Kobe Bryant. They also have one of the most versitle players in Lamar Odom. They also have one of the best defender in the league with the controversal,but worth it, Ron Artest. The Lakers are the team to beat.
The Uplift Titans are going to have high expectations coming into the 2009-2010 season. With the load of talent this team has, they expect to win the red north and contend in city and state playoffs. After winnig a regional championship The Uplift Titans are hungry and they are training hard to be the best they can be. When everybody is on the same page, the titans are very hard to beat. Uplift is a team of the present and also a team of the future with a ton of 2010 and 2011 talent on both boys and girls rosters. The Uplift girls varsity a reigning conferance champions. Lookout for uplift now and later.

First day of school
Try Outs
My name is Ronny Mulik; I play for uplift high school in Chicago, Illinois. I was born and raised in Louisiana and I moved to Chicago when I was 7. I’ve been playing basketball for as long as I remember. I’m going into my senior season at uplift and last year I averaged 37.5pts 6 assist and 7rebounds. People say I’m destined for greatness, But they really don’t know how my life is, they really don’t know me. Well in this story I’m going to give them a chance to know me.
Today is the first day of school; I’m excited but nervous at the same time. I’m driving my new 2009 Dodge Magnum to school but first I got to pick up my girl Michelle, I’ve been with her since my freshman year…But she’s been acting strange lately. She’s been acting like she’s up to something or she thinks im up to something, Either way im going to get to the bottom of it, Because we been together to long to keep secrets. She got in the car and I said to her
“Wusup?”
“Nothing”
“Why you always saying that, do you still want to be my girl? Because lately you been ignoring me like I did something.”
“It aint that, It’s just…”
“It’s just what?”
“You’re leaving me after this year, to go to college.”
“Do you really believe that im going to leave you, just forget about you? Is that the type of guy u think that I am? I thought I told you how much I love you and that I would never hurt you, why don’t you believe me?”
“I do believe you baby I just needed you to tell me that again.”
“So you are going to stop acting funny right. Cause I wanted to spend the night with you.”
“Yeah boo I’m straight.”
We had arrived at the school, as I was going in everybody was asking me what college I was going to and if I was going to go pro, I kept telling them I don’t know and I don’t know. I got to my first period class and I was excited. I loved school and couldn’t wait for the season to start.
Try outs are always funny to me. Everybody wants to be a basketball player even the guys who can’t ball. So when you get a group of guys who can’t play and scrimmage them it looks really funny. It was time for my team to go on and we were playing against this new guy’s team I never seen before. He didn’t intimidate me, nobody did, it’s just that I know everybody and seeing a new guy on my court was different to. So we get on the court and this new cat immediately begins talking crap, he says “you know you overrated right?’’ I already knew after he said that that he was just another hater, and I was going to kill him on the court. I’m 6’6; the only guy taller is my best friend Dwayne, and he’s on my team. So I’m going up for the dunk and I feel this kid pulling on my shoulder, It’s well known that I had surgery on my shoulder a couple of years back, So it angered me that he would grab my arm on purpose. I said to him
“What you grab me for? I had a wide open dunk”
“I was playing d; if you can’t handle it get off the court.”
“Nigga I’ll put you in the basket, we can go one on one right now for my spot. You win you get my starting 2 guard spot, I win you leave this gym.”
“You overrated and I’m going to expose you.”
I get this a lot; dudes come in the gym and try to prove themselves by playing me. They only end up getting embarrassed like this cat was about to be. I said to him
“What’ game partna?”
“24 by 2s.
“You not gone touch this ball.”
“Yeah we’ll see.”
We played to 24 and I won 24 to 0. I have to give it to him, I did miss one shoot so he did get the ball, but he tried to go to the hole and I put his shot off glass.
After tryouts I had to drop Dwayne off at home, but I was planning on going to see Michelle so I was in a rush.
“Ay Weezy, who you going to prom with?’’
“I don’t know, I was thinking about taking your girl.”
“You wish.”
“Ha-ha but I’m thinking about taking Jessica.”
“Aw ok man well get the hell out of my car I got to go see my girl.”
I went to Michelle’s house and called her to open the door. We was going to have a long night, And I was going to have a long season. But with my girl and my skills I should breeze through it.

First Impressions
I already knew the majority of the people in this class, So i really already know what to expect...
so i didnt really have a first impression of the class.I also was in the class room last year so the class wasnt new either. My first impression during class was this is going to be a boring.. So i dont know wat to tell you. I love basketball so i keep up with it by going to NBA.com. It allows me to watch video and study my favorite players.

Life Lessons
Basketbal teaches life lessons..Ive learned so much about life from the game. It teaches you how to interact with people and how different people can be. Like I recently learned that people can be jealous of you and hold you back from accomplishing goals and its not just kids that could be jealous of you, Sometimes it could be adults. Basketball is almost the most important thing to me. I love the game. Its what i always think about. People think that its just a game. But its more then that to me. To me..Its a life lesson.
Today
Today was strange...Kind of Boring..The basketball team has to run the beach..AGAIN today
I just cant wait until the season starts. We should be the team to beat this year and we got to prove to alot of people we deserve to be on top. I plan on being the starter if all goes well. But the most important thing is to win. I want to win, I want to be a champion.. Thats what drives me. I want to win..Its all that matters to me now. That should be the biggest goal uplift basketball team has..To win..everybody just has to work hard and we can do it. We want to win..We need to win.
