Girl

I'm expected to be kind and fragile. 

I should dislike sports and other "boy" things. 

Dirt shouldn't be on my skin or clothes, 

Wearing a dress or skirt should be normal. 

But I'm only some of these things. 

I "classify" myself as a "tomboy"; 

I am kind and fragile, but not all the time. 

I love sports, video games, and being lazy. 

I don't mind getting messy once in awhile, 

And I would rather wear jeans, sneakers, and hoodies. 

I’m not a "typical" girl; 

Don't try to label me or anyone else.
