Chapter 17 in Fallen Angels

The woman and her second child get shot by the American soldiers after the lady's first child exploded in a soldier's arms, killing him. The woman had used her son as a decoy by equipping him with mines to kill the soldier. Basically, that's what had happen to the woman and her two children.
